It only gets super bouncy when the train is going fast, when we slow down its not bad.
Edit: video worked yay, yeah that's what it's like.
The locals sleep through it.

Unfortunately, the need for the LOOKUP() function lookup_array to be in ascending order didn't save me from having to use 20 nested if()s for a different formula... I know there's got to be a more elegant solution, but I didn't feel like getting hung up on that piece of it for what is, more or less, a proof of concept. It's so close I can taste it. I don't know precisely what you're trying to do. But a general principle is that rather than creating a massive set of nested IF functions, try and instead identify the key states that matter. Set those as their own variables (or column variable, idk how your model works). A technique I like to do is not even touch Excel and just draw out what I'm trying to do on a piece of paper as a flowchart. That flowchart represents the bajillion IFs you're trying to do. Then figure out if there are ways to simplify that flowchart such as removing redundencies, or definining states of the world where X+Y+Z are all true as one variable or something. (It feels a bit like linear network optimisation problems you do by hand sort of?) Also some aspects might be easier if you use INDEX, MATCH, OFFSET, and named arrays. It also removes a lot of restrictions of LOOKUPS (needing the variable to be on the left is a big one for example and also means you can be more flexible with your primary key). Well, I did a ton of distance calculations in a few different ways, and I wanted to scan through and return the column header where the value matched the look up value. It's a bit tough to explain without going into too much detail, but I'm erring on the side of caution there. I haven't used Excel heavily in probably 2-3 years, and I'm sure I can figure it out given a bit of time - some quick googling suggests that INDEX/MATCH/OFFSET may be the way to go. But I don't feel like spending a bunch of time figuring it out when the Excel portion of this is janky as it is. Again, it's really just a proof of concept for a GeoCoding tool/use case.

Second tab is used as a dummy for generating TRUE/FALSE checks on the entire columns in the first tab. The TRUE/FALSE states can be used to output the column header. If your first tab is just calculations, then the checks in the second tab can be in matching columns (i.e. Column A in tab 2 checks Column A in tab 1) which means if a third party uses your work it's all neat and tidy for them to grok. It also makes outputting the column super easy cause it's literally the exact same position. Third tab is the general results tab and the front-end stuff you can show to people and can also be used as an input tab which feeds into the variables used in the calculations useed in the first tab.

Speaking of Pokemon, I picked up Alpha Sapphire (again). I went for Mudkip as my starter (named him Grimmles) and called myself Dr. Acula. Not sure of who I want for my final party, but I'm thinking of throwing in a Raltz and a Aron in there and seeing what happens. The Aggron will be dropped for a Tyranitar when I get the chance to get my hands on a Larvitar. (Hope I picked the right version to get Larvitar...) Don't know what I'm going to fill in for my other three slots of my party though.

When I was in Sicily, I took a train in the middle of the night, just a small thing it was only one or two cars. And it was the last train and I was the only person on it. There wasn't even an attendant for the passengers. If there was a driver I couldn't see him. And it was dark and pitch black outside. And the train was old and the lights in the car would flicker and hum. And then we passed by a coal mine or something, one of those things with big smokestacks that spout fire. So all I could see out the windows was eerie blue fire dancing about. And then my iPod or whatever I had like that back in the day started playing the phantom train music from ff6. So wonderful.

I thought in third generation all of them were viable choices. Well, I'd understand that probably no one likes Treecko, but I would have thought that Mudkip and Torchic were "cool" choices.
