MKX looks pretty shit compared to the other games. Maybe that Marvel one was worse coz I had no clue wtf was going on other than flashing lights perma.

There's a lot of cross-over skill between different fighting games, so if you're like me you, you have lot of fighting games you played for 5-50 hours just to check what's interesting about them and build your knowledge/experience, or just have fun with something new for a while.

This upcoming week begins Building the Monolith. Prepping meals this afternoon so I can eat big and not make excuses. Got monstrous stuffed hamburgers, a meatloaf, pre-cooked sausage and veggies for all the eggs I'm going to make, 1.5lb of taco meat, bunch of tuna cans, creatine and whey powder and gallons of whole milk all lined up. I'm going to do stuff and make it happen!

Mordek, you are one crazy man. Enjoy your week. I actually ordered 1.25kg plates since I got pretty mad last week about my progress. Hopefully that helps :D

Is Smash the only one of these fighting games that isn't like combo -> kill or combo -> half hp?

So uhh Guilty Gear accent core plus R is on steam and you know if you wanted to learn, why not now? I mean goodness knows Guilty Gear is the most awesome thing ever.

Remember that AC+R is pretty much the newest balance patch for Guilty Gear XX from 2002, the one played earlier was a new game on a new engine released in 2014.

I live in the ass end of Africa so everything has to be 200 ping able. Fighting games unfortunately require way too low latency. I know there's small FG community here but that tends to mean everyone is at too high a level to have that much enjoyment and it means you have to find what game they play.

Obviously yeah :p With ArcSys fighters the most recent game is always played. There was a side tournament for AC+R but I didn't watch it.

Do you ever play on GGPO/Fightcade? I know how important low latency is for fighting games, but the rollback-based network makes games playable even with extremely high ping - I've played Skullgirls with Wave and Soniv and it wasn't perfect, but bearable.
