Oh I meant compared to the draft ones where I had 3 full paragraphs for any single games. I guess sealed doesn't change much because I write less in them (save for the "takeaways" part). Also the "building sealed" part is way shorter than talking about how the draft went (esp. since the tappedout link has the final build anyway).
I can't really go back to them since they're just lost in my sea of posts.
And you're not supposed to Ketara, that's also the point of spoiler tags, so it takes you less scrolling to get to the next post!

But the stuff outside the tags still fills more than an entire screen on my laptop :p
If that's the intention with spoiler tags why not just put another spoiler tag over the entire thing. Although i guess OT pages would look much emptier
Who was it who normally does the AGDQ recap threads? I need a list of recommended vods :p
Mario race was good, and skyrim and arabian nights were catastrophically amazing, but i didn't see much more than that.

lol it's funny because it's true. Still cuts deep though phyvo.
I'll try to ACTUALLY finish a full post about it this year, probably next weekend? But if you're looking for some quick hits...
- Strider [Live Tutorial Showcase] - Enviro-Bear 2000 - Mike Tyson's Punch Out! + Super Punch Out! (2 games, 1 controller) - Legend of Zelda: LTTP (Randomizer Race) - Super Dram World 2 + TASBot plays Super Dram World

Add Bloodborne to that list too. Mega Man relay race was nice, lead changed a few times, but I'm a huge mega man homer and have actually learned to speedrun 2 of those 3 decently. Didn't get to watch much live this year, usually a Reddit thread with recommendations pops up I need to peep that.
It may be worse? The game is more popular now and information travels faster so the continual blow to consumer confidence may just have a bigger impact now then back then. It's tough to say. The interesting part is that these cards aren't particularly strong cards. It's just the power level of standard has been lowered so hard that anything remotely out of line dominates so hard.
i mean if WotC wanted a weaker format they could have just kept Block Constructed as a competitive format. Continually trying to power down Standard just makes things frustrating for everyone.

I've still definitely got a lot of them to watch, but all of those are making my list with 0 qualifications. They were either new and cool, new and weird, awesome, or just funny.
I'm looking forward to finally seeing Bloodborne for sure.
I didn't think enviro bear was particularly interesting. The Arabian nights game was fascinatingly hilarious though. Also second that punch out run. Considering how formulaic and relatively easy is to manipulate punch out (see:blindfolded runs), this is probably a lot easier to do than it seems, but still a great and entertaining watch.

I think it's definitely one of the cases where the planning phase of that run is probably far more impressive than the execution especially given it is zallard executing it(he's a punch out god). We are/we're watching the final result of some absurd investment on figuring out how to tinker his already existing runs to synergize into that final product. I almost would've rather seen something unexpected happen to him or rng do it's best to force more improv out of him but it was still super entertaining.

Wasn't trying to dig at you! I can't criticize anyone anyways because I've been meaning to do some hobby sprite work and I've made almost zero progress the last two weeks because, well, life.
