All news I get from the people who didn't quit paint things as cohesively staying on that path.

It feels a little more balanced than when I was playing World of Tanks. Destroyers are always useful because they're tiny and super maneuverable and torpedo runs can wreck anyone. I never really felt that way about light tanks in World of Tanks.

Overwatch still seems like boring and unwatchable garbage to me.

Blizzard may have some slight delusions of grandeur here Probably more like they don't want the viewership numbers to be public so their investors don't start comparing it to other games and get spooked :p

I'm pretty sure people investing in OW are already a bit devoid of reality so that may not be too big a deal.

That's not to mention how EU servers get treated in other blizzard games. It's super weird to me since EU is a bigger region than NA in most gaming spheres. Wonder if it's because Blizzard execs are more in the circles for NA investors so they can buddy up to them for funds. Do they get more profits from a NA customer than EU or other regions? It's odd. I'd love to know the inner workings of why they don't appear to care as much.

I do see it being hard for europeans to get overly excited about it when all the team names are shit like "Boston Uprising" and "San Francisco Shock" though

edit: Lol they made every health bar white so it's even harder to tell what's going on. So much for a year and a half for "spec features"..

Is LA time zone that different to where Riot hosts LCS or Valve events? It's been a very long time since I've watched an event that had this bad a schedule for my time zone while hosted in NA. I'd love to know the inner workings of why they don't appear to care as much. Riot also has been shoving NALCS onto weekends for the most part, where they can afford to push it earlier and capture the NA audience while making it decent for EU. Note on Fridays how it started at 3PM local time, leading to 11PM+ in EU. Same issue today with Day 1 of All Stars. OWL also started on a weekday. Air times in NA are going to be West Coast centric, especially if they are physically held on the west coast. The idea of airing OWL at 9AM local time to hit 5PM+ for EU in the middle of the week would be shooting themselves in the foot domestically. Hell, that's why the East Coast has to wait until 3PM for NALCS. As for if it's more worthwhile to air to NA or EU if forced to pick, we're seeing that play out in the funding disparity teams are going through in League.
