Thanksfully we didn't have as many people sunday (tho overall we're still equal/slightly above AKH so product woulda been short) so enough packs for every player.

And people don't get their promos taken away Wave, the goal's to ensure everyone's playing with 6 rares, not some 6 and some 7. Also pre-releases are handled by the club, which actually doesn't make money anymore since the switch (it made a little with the 2 big pre-releases, now they flattened prize support a bit since we only do 3 rounds and used that to lower the entry fee too, but they make peanuts), so it's not a money thing for the store. Basically the prize support was delayed by 5 days to let everyone play. | ||

Then we spent another 2 hours hoping mama would be hungry enough to enter the trap. Instead a random Tom (possibly the father) managed to eat all the tuna in the trap without springing it. Not that it mattered, mama wasn't going anywhere near the trap at this point. QQ my sleep. Mama came back to the house several times in the night, which I know because I had to close the drapes so one of our cats would stop growling at her. The kittens were scared (understandable, it was probably their first night ever without mama), but because we caught both they at least had each other for comfort. When we got up this morning they were huddled in a tiny corner in the room we've set aside for them. Now begins the long, hard work of socializing them. Normally socializing kittens is easy but we're pretty sure these kittens are close to 8 weeks old, and the easy socialization period is in the 2-7 range. However, my wife (being a school bus driver) has a month or so where she'll be home all the time and so we have plenty opportunity to work on it. | ||
