Ultimately whether you save money or not depends on a lot of factors. I definitely felt like I had more economic freedom when I lived alone in a cheap apartment, but that's largely because I wasn't investing in eventually paying nothing for housing per month. | ||

I tried to get King of Tokyo today at my LGS 'cause they've been having a decent sale all week (and every time I've gone there to draft it's just been sitting on the shelf, unloved) but all versions of the game were sold out  Playmats were crappy too, I think I'll wait to get a playmat until/if I start playing Standard and then I can get something that fits my 'theme' or whatever. Don't feel like buying discount Avacyn or Griselbrand just 'cuz. Ended up just buying 3x DTK packs for $8 which was nice. Stupid because I won't get anything worthwhile, but nice. | ||

New Mulligan rules make combo decks much stronger. This could lead to very degenerate things happening in Modern/Legacy. In testing, Miracles legacy is a MUCH stronger deck with this new rule. I hope after the PT they reconsider. | ||
