I mean, in fairness, the resurgence came from what essentially amounted to a full reboot a few years ago after about a decade of being OFF the air.

My sister has a free Doctor Who 50th anniversary ticket for her and a friend, but they all had to cancel. So now I'm apparently going to a really nice theater to see a movie I won't grasp too much.
I've seen all of the first season with Matt Smith when it comes to Doctor Who. That's it. Am I well-prepared? :3

Some dude from the navy just straight up ditched his at the firehouse my dad volunteers at and never showed up again. I ended up with a free $250 coat.
@Req: You sure? Dated 11/11.

Just watch from the reboot and you're fine. that's what I've done. Everything before the Ninth Doctor is "Classic Who" and some basic wiki'ing will fill you in if you find yourself REALLY interested.

If you're going out shopping you had stores in mind right? Feel the weight. You can tell quality from shit easily. Then get what you'll feel comfortable wearing.

Not a knock against either series, but I've found Doctor Who fans to be similar to Harry Potter fans, in that within 5 minutes of any conversation, you will know if you're interacting with one, because goddamit they will bring it up, whether by direct reference or indirect allusion, every other sentence minutes ORZ
It's not just me is it?

It's not just me is it? rabid fanboys of anything are annoying

I wish I was a rabid fanboy, they seem to have more fun than people like me who just stand with their arms folded and make fun of them and talk about how much better we are as fans.
I'm actually somewhat serious.

Same with religion really.

I'm a rabid fanboy about starcraft. It comes up in my conversations quite quickly. You can imagine I'm a big hit with the ladies.
