BRAG POST] +I was going to post something long and blog-ish but then I remembered I did this a while ago http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/410865-the-hardest-timeIt's kind of silly going back and reading that and thinking that was the hardest period of anything I've been through after the year I've had. This past year was balls. Absolute balls. This month in particular fucking sucked. There's going to be a lot more suck in my very near future too. I think I can be proud of myself without being a dick about it though, and apparently some people in my class agree because I'm up for one of two awards at our grad ceremony for 'triumphing in the face of adversity' or something of the sort. As the years went on in my program I became less and less social due to family and such, and as such I stopped being included in plans and people seemed to more or less forget I existed. Not that I tried particularly hard and I don't blame anyone, but still. Considering I had to be nominated for this award I guess it means people didn't really forget about me. It feels really good. (There was another guy whose wife gave birth to twins almost 4 months prematurely in the middle of his rotations. By some miracle they survived and are healthy but he also missed a lot of school. And they wouldn't give him his money back for registration for boards so he had to study and write board exams while his kids and wife were in the NICU in Ottawa. He fucking deserves the other one and I hope they give it to him.) 4 more days.
Hope the rest of you guys had a good day off. OT has been slow today.

you def went through some shit that I am glad I have not had to. I dont think there is anything wrong with being proud of coming out of it with such good prospects as you have. You don good for you and yours and your almost through the hardest part i figure.

I watched the mortal kombat ten cutscenes at work today. 2 hr and 30 minutes, its basically a movie.
Oh and got triple time for it. And will have the 4th off because I worked this one.

anyone tried installing witcher 3 from the free nvidia key? the fucking GOG website is pretty shit. im dling part 1/7-7/7 atm

Super tiring holiday weekend, but totally werth. Helping parents with landscaping (so many wheelbarrows of mulch to move uphill), cooking for family/friend dinners. Blah. Still, got clothes shopping done until probably Black Friday (very good haul this weekend), and got a new, very decent suit set for less than $200 too. One of those J.Crew Thompson suits in full wool. Gotta take it to the tailor after it arrives, but still, yata!
Now I just need to get socks, crews, and underwear bought online. The last of those is actually really hard to decide on. So much variety, so many hot underwear models...
Anyone actually up to date on underwear fashion (other than that boxers are totally out)? Because otherwise I need to consult GQ on dis.
