kendrick's part was really good, the chorus is pretty boring, the MV itself was pretty meh, could have done a much cooler montage of introducing everyone.
Kenny's last album was rly good too.
Still bumping King Kunta/These Walls like every day.
How Much a Dollar Cost probably my favorite.
Pushups and situps seem like a good idea. I need a reason to get out of bed anyway. Also, I did find a local taekwondo here, maybe I will look into that.
Youtube comment warriors often shit on Taekwondo, but one thing is for certain, as far as contact sports go, taekwondo looks the coolest by far

Yeah, I was getting kind of bored with it but maybe I'll get back to it. I also want to start running on my off days now that it's nice outside but don't want to wear my legs down for the squats since they are every day.
I'm kind of bad at progressing on my own so the fact that it has built in progression really appealed to me lol. There are quite a lot of variants and modifications you can do if you getting bored or want more I think.
I'm pretty weak too. Went from squatting 30kgs to 65kg in 2 months which I think is pretty good for someone that's never done weight training so seems like it works. Bench press is pretty similar, went from struggling on like 25 to doing 50kg.

Taekwondo should be really good for you if you keep doing that. I did karate for 13+ years and would still be going if I didn't have a fall out with the way instruction was going.
Unfortunately I'm not pro enough to start my own school, that would be another 10+ years of training before they'd even consider me a candidate zzzzzzz

Have you seen olympic TKD? it's a fucking joke of a sport. Foot tag + dad bod armor is a joke. Sport TKD has killed TKD as a martial arts. Also McDojo's have also killed TKD as well.
If you wanna see sick kicks that are effective, watch Kyokoushin Karate, they do the exact shit as TKD, except in actual fights, and in much closer distances. There are only a handful of TKD guys that can apply their stuff the same way Kyo guys can.

Not really, olympic freestyle, greco roman wrestling, and judo have been pumping out top tier fighters, and championship level fighters. Meanwhile there hasn't been any top tier sport TKD guys that have shown up in octagon or the ring to put up a convincing display of skills... That's not to say there aren't mid-tier TKD guys who use some TKD kick mechanics (like Pettis) in the octagon, but TKD as an art has not been a very successful martial art in it's ability to create fighters. Also, olympic boxing has created some decent fighters, but most of the top-tier olympic boxer go Pro Boxing, since there tends to be bigger money there if you're remotely good (Mayweather, etc etc.).

If you want to see kicks that are effective watch MMA. Also best contact sport is pair figure skating.
MMA is slowly evolving to include a lot more kickers. There are very few in the top tier I would say have "good" kicking skills, most fighters tend to have really shitty kicks.
Cerrone's MT is top notch, Pettis's kick accuracy is insane, Cro Cop pioneer'd Sprawl and Brawl with kicks, but overall level of kicking in the UFC is pretty much a joke. Cruikshank has sick TKD though, if he keeps rising up to the ranks, we'll have a convincing TKD guy in the UFC. We're even seeing a ton of guys from the old Pride FC days start incorporating more kicks in their game (even though their kicks are pretty trash), like Rampage Jackson.

Yeah, that fight was Makdessi being completely outclassed by Cerrone. Makdessi took the fight on relatively short notice because of Cerrone's original opponent getting injured. Was a decent fight, Makdessi tagged Cerrone a couple times, but fight was overwhelmingly Cerrone outstriking Makdessi.
Unless you're joining MMA professionally, I don't think it matters what martial arts you learn, any of them will help you get in shape and learn the basic tenents of self defense.

you'd be surprised at how false this is with the # of mcdojos that exists.
of course that's more a complaint at bad gyms/dojos than it is specific martial arts.
