Basically, every major plot point that resulted in the resolution being the way it was, was basically entirely predictable, so it kills any excitement and it just becomes a super generic movie, not to mention thematically, Hiro getting Baymax's chip back was just a meh point that I thought made the whole thing just uninteresting and unfulfilling. FWIW, it's a fucking children's film, so I probably shouldn't hate on it that much, but there are certainly amazing children's films that I still watch and never get bored by, so there's some room to complain. -3- On May 21 2015 21:32 Numy wrote: Just finished Edge of Tomorrow. As for the LN, I'll check it out. I've read quite a few LN so the quality of writing doesn't phase me that much. I can't really tell if it's just due to translation that it feels poor or if it's actually just poor writing for the most part. I mean I'm reading Highschool DxD now which I know is trashy lol | ||

Maybe you might want to avoid the LN for a while then since the ending is not the same as Edge of Tomorrow and ends on a...I guess you could say melancholic/bleak note. Otherwise, if you're fine with LN writing, then you should give it a shot. I got a copy for free back when I was in middle school so obviously it's been some time since I read it. Story in general is going to be different but I think it takes the more Japanese way of doing things (aka suffering) | ||
