But I went by myself.
So I spent $50 on 11 items and I ate one of each item and now I have all these leftovers, lol. Dim sum level: novice

I roll/wrap my own dim sum dishes when I'm really feeling it though because I'm pro like that. /smug

This is why I'm always stoked to have leftovers.

I was planning on giving the leftovers to my family for dinner.
It's like a delayed win, but I'm losing now.
I did get to try some stuff that I never had before. Like the bao with egg in it, like this: http://foodmanna.blogspot.com/2012/08/salted-egg-custard-buns-lau-sar-bao.html#.Ui43Wpzd33U

Fucking hell. The ITs at my college reimaged my laptop with the programs for the course I was in last year after I specifically told them I switched courses. Now I am stuck with default Autocad and Revit when I need Autocad Mechanical. Now I have to go get it reimaged again and lose all the setup I did over the past week and a half.

Dim Sum mastery is about getting the most / most delicious food for the least money possible.

The place I went to, Sea Harbor, is always in the conversation when talking about best dim sum in LA.
And I did get 11 items for $50...
If I were around during finals I'd take you guys there. Instead I will probably just eat maple bacon donuts with caelym and whoever else is there for semis.

Every time I get AYCE kbbq, unless it's really really cheap (like 9.99) then I'm almost always disappointed. If you have a big enough group, it's way more economical to just order a la carte.

What would be the price range were I to say travel to LA for a week for the finals of Worlds? I barely ever travel so I have no idea what I would be looking at in terms of hotels and whatnot :S

If you guys want kbbq, come down to San Diego. I'll show you guys an amazing all you can eat kbbq place.
You'll have hot Korean girls come up to you and lean over and be like "Sir, would you like more meat?"

You can bring that down if you plan well, probably down to $1200
