If you look at how "action" star like Sean Connery looked say 30 years ago doing James Bond vs how the new James Bond you see how society's view changes. It's dumb as fuck honestly. We shouldn't be promoting an unhealthy body image but well it sells so they do it. It's a little funny in that if you look at all the "strongest" man type stuff their bodies would almost be considered "fat" by today's standards where as the movie stars are all "strong". Such bs. ? It simply has to do with what kind of look they're going for... Tom Cruise is still doing a ton of action films, look at fast and furious series, only Vin Diesel and Rock are swole as fuck, Paul Walker and the rest are all pretty normal build. Keanu Reeves in John Wicks was pretty normal build. I mean, you conveniently forget about Arnold's and Stallone's films in the past, you just have selective memory.

You conveniently ignore all the comic book movies which make up a large portion of action movies over the last few years. Don't know why you have to try fling shit all the time instead of just engaging in a discussion like a normal human being. Is that so difficult? Have you seen comic books, having overly ripped guys is part of canon... And even if you want to bring up super hero movies and tv show, I don't see how Flash, Arrow, Spider Man, etc are considered overly unhealthy body image? And Daniel Craig is only a singular bond choice, it's not like Brosnan was some swole dude as a transition from Timothy Dalton, and Roger Moore.

+ Show Spoiler [Sean Connery] + ![]() + Show Spoiler [Chris Prat] + ![]() That look that Chris Pratt is what I'm talking about. That's only really achieved by strict training then going on a super low body fat binge just before the scene. It's not healthy for any extended period of time or realistic to achieve. I believe most bodybuilders do that for the competitions than return to their normal diet afterwards.

![]() remember guys, this is "unhealthy", and "unrealistic". I think this just comes down to Numy's poor understanding of what's unrealistic and unhealthy.

Hugh Jackman in Xmen (mostly because of his age). Affleck in new Superman Movie (assuming that suit wasn't overly padded, but from what I've seen of Affleck's walking weight during filming, he's fucking huge in such a short time)
