Ever since I've adopted Yangos "Only random never not random" in ranked in order to be a better player. I've lost like 400 elo. Secretly I think he just wants me to be bad  . | ||

Yeah, I could probably get around 3.7-4k if I only played Dusa/Spectre, lower if feel like playing Troll/Jugg/support and only low/mid 3k if I had to mid. I'm terrible at mid, unless I'm playing Viper/Razor lol | ||

You definitely do learn and gain rating faster if you stick to as few heroes as possible. This is partly why Milo's way better than me even though we started playing DotA 2 around the same time and have played similar amounts of games. | ||

Also yeah I started playing during TI2 (no hon/dota exp prior), and I'm better than 100% of the people I know who started around that time give or take a few months. Focused/centralized learning pretty useful. Screwing around for two years not so much  | ||
