Just went in to the control panel and made it turn on all the time.

Not like I need shitty integrated gfx anyways, and it eats up CPU.

I just go into the Nvidia control panel and make sure it's selected for the games I play on my laptop. Gets too hot if I have the graphics card on constantly.

Well, my Asus probably got really screwed in terms of heating because I was using it in place of a desktop for a couple years and since the HDMI port is on the video card, it was forced to do everything.

i do the same with my laptop, though the lenovo has fucking massive side-vents and can self-clean dust so I don't have to go through the trouble of opening it up and liberally cleaning it like I did my HP (fuck HP mang). If it really gets too hot, I'll just turn on dust removal for awhile and let it cool down that way.
