Any group that takes themselves that seriously is an obnoxious cult. That being said, I never play games on consoles ('cept 3DS) anymore.

For a group that calls themselves "master race," they do a very poor job of refusing to buy bad console ports or games that have reduced quality due to "parity."

No one takes it seriously, I am unwilling to believe that anyone takes it seriously in any serious manner. Having said that, I don't see how it's any more crazy then people being massive fanboys of "insert console maker here" They don't even make the games half the times, I don't see how dudes lining up to get a xbox from bill gates at midnight is any more crazy then some duder laughing at them about it while discussing how he wants to fondle a Nvidia titan card. Also, the entire gaming community has an issue with preorders and buying shitty bugged games. Slowly they are getting better at it, hopefully. Maybe.. god I hope so.

Depends on the person I guess, some of my friends who game on console choose their games very carefully. Console or PC, both sides all have idiots. I thought like that too, until I met some people who were dead serious about PC gaming...

Edit: That's also in Redmond and I have no idea about Washington geography even a little bit.

No matter what I tried I could never get the nvidia card to turn on when I was gaming except for plugging the laptop to an external monitor. Lesson learned, no more switchable gimmick for me.

Just went in to the control panel and made it turn on all the time. Not like I need shitty integrated gfx anyways, and it eats up CPU.

I tried that too, did not work. Nothing worked except plugging in to a monitor because you can't cheat physics. And don't even get me started on making Optimus work on Linux...

I just go into the Nvidia control panel and make sure it's selected for the games I play on my laptop. Gets too hot if I have the graphics card on constantly.
