Of course it's not. It's just that being able to repeatedly mull changes this a bit, and losing a card on each mull makes it feel worse on a visceral level--which you have to overcome when you logically consider how to mull.
Ofc MtG mulls would be way more straightforward if you didn't lose a card each time like in HS.

Well there are some problems with this, most notably that it's impossible to look at all of the digits of pi(or any other irrational number).

I mean, infinity "works" in theoretical senses, and given an endless string of numbers, you're bound to find all rational and irrational numbers in any number like pi or e.
I think one of my favorite things to learn was that there are varying types of infinity, and that certain types are larger than other types of infinity.

I was just talking to my dad, who has done a lot of math stuff, and he tells me this is actually not the case. Although he says my question was poorly defined.
The way he interpreted it, in order for pi to "contain" e, basically what has to happen is you start out with 3.14159... and then at some point the rest of pi's digits have to be identical to e's. So at some quadrillionth digit of pi suddenly pi starts going ...2781828... etc etc. Obviously pi and e both contain the same digits (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) and even share some finite series of digits. But to contain an entirely different irratonal number is something else.
If in this interpretation pi *did* contain e what we're really saying is that, for integers a, b, c, d, we hold this to be true about pi and e: pi*a+b=e*c+d. Which would mean that they are transcendentally the same (which is related to how you prove a number is transcendental). My dad said, however, that this is very unlikely and then went to bed to stop thinking about it.
