I meant on a personal basis. I'm not trying to put it on blast on social media or anything or call the people that like it shit. I'm talking about it here but this is more of a place for discussion rather than a platform for sharing opinions . Maybe I should try and look at them more individually but I don't think that would make me like it much more honestly.

I don't see anything wrong with criticizing any game so long as it consists of an actual argument. The argument won't make me agree with the writer's sentiment but it at least shows that the writer thought more about it than your average youtube troll. If criticism was never ok then we wouldn't have game reviews.
Twitter's a pretty sucky place to have arguments though.

I wouldn't know what to get her from somewhere like that anyway. As much as I hate giftcards, I think with that, cooking her dinner, and a day out for fun that might be good overall. What do you gents think?

Edit: If the Doctor Who Legos already existed, which ones to buy would be a no-brainer. Unfortunately you might have to make some actual choices.

This is actually not a bad idea! One time, we went to the Lego store together and bought just one of those little tubs and filled it with loose parts. We built business card holders together, it was really fun! Maybe I can get an interesting Lego kit at the mall at some point, buying loose is kinda useless unless you know what you're building for.

I bought the ESPORTS shirt back in the day. Pretty sure it was like $14 or something. Anything $20+ has crossed the line of ridiculousness.
I used to write songs for my wife back in the day. Might try to learn Thinking Out Loud by valentine's day bring back some of that romance, ya feel? We'll see how it goes. Have you guys ever read The Five Love Languages? Usually good for honing down "gift" ideas, which I put in quotes as Gifts is one of the five iirc. My wife is quality time so I'm 99% sure the appropriate plan is organize a babysitter and an activity to do together next weekend.

I am in excruciating pain. I went to Alestorm's Piratefest at the mod club last night and had a great time. I got smashed and moshed a bit and the only bad thing was i had to clean up my bloody nose after getting headbutt in the face. But then when we left I had to shove my friend out of the snowbank he parked in. I slipped and fell right on my leg. I can barely walk. driving to work was probably not the safest thing and putting on sock on that foot was the hardest most painful thing i've done to date. I ought to go get it checked out even tho I'm pretty sure its not broken and I don't really want crutches. We got poutine after tho and that was amazing. Aparently its "la poutine week" in Toronto w.e. that means but smokes poutine is amazing on any occasion. It did not possess magical leg healing properties like I hoped tho.

We're going to a nature park/wildlife preserve in the suburbs that we've had a lot of previous dates at. We both love it there, and it's really pretty covered in snow. We might go walk around or just hang out in the lodge and look out the window while drinking hot cocoa.
After that, maybe going to a mall to walk around together and then cooking her dinner.
