I see so many people running it, and I get it, 2/3 for 1 is great for early board control, but the deathrattle has cost me enough games that I'm just disgusted with it. Generally the decks you use it in you shouldn't be losing games due to it. Druid/Priest use it to deal with super aggro to make them run out of steam so the HP isn't really important. What kind of situations is it costing you?

![]() If you're just not drawing them at the right time that's RNG. If they don't feel that useful when you draw them early then ditch them.

You don't want Chow in your Hunter decks specifically because you're aggro: you usually don't want to remove his board so much as force him to deal with yours, unless he's got stuff such as undertakers of his own, jugglers, snow chuggers, etc. With undertakers, webspinners and leper gnomes as 1-drops, and mad scientist/haunted creeper/loot hoarder as 2-drops, you're generally pretty well-covered in early stuff (you're going to mulligan very aggressively for undertakers anyway).

Also my card base is really minimal, is it better to get half GvG and half Classic or are the GvG cards that much better that I should just go all in on them?

If you *do* buy packs with $$$ though my suggestion is to pool all your $$$ into *either* classic or GvG. That way you take advantage of the bulk purchase discount. Then, as you earn gold, buy the cards from the other set until you feel like you've evened things out. Buying GvG first with $$$ gives you the upside of some really strong cards, but buying classic with $$$ first will probably give you more different kinds of cards at first because the # of classic cards is greater than in GvG. Take your pick. edit: also note that if you choose to buy Naxx with gold that's costs 3500 which you could have used for 35 packs so Naxx is much cheaper to buy with $$$ than gold.

Forgot about the discount, I guess that's true.

Maybe it's easier to go for GvG and then just craft the classic common cards you need as a base? Unless you want to save for a legendary.

Hell I don't even know what I wanna play. I've really been enjoying Inner Fire Priest lately, but it's not exactly fantastic.

You can make perfectly playable decks with basics + Naxx + a few good cards from packs. Nothing that will get you super far, but enough to do quests, learn the game, and have fun with it.
