I've seen you reset so many of those runs or die in such silly ways, it was nice to share in your elation upon the completed run. Nice job, Wave.

Great job man, in the first few minutes I really thought you were gonna throw it.
I still have to unlock the Lost, I'm probably going to do that after finishing every character on hard mode. I'll likely have the stopwatch unlocked by then too. I'm really not looking forward to it.

This guy. How can you be a role model if you don't teach us to have self-confidence? See if we're going to be a prototype as to how well you inspire your kid you've still got work to do. More confidence darnit!

So my dad got t-boned by a Lays truck a couple days ago in the ice storm:
+ Show Spoiler +
I told him I'd give shelke shit for it, but then got sad cuz shelke doesn't exist.
|
Oh damn. that looks like a bad accident. Glad everyone is okay. Is he going to get the car fixed? To bad we don't know anyone that works for them to give a hard time to.
|
Ha, that was the first thing I thought of. Glad your dad is ok (I assume)
|
He's not sure what he's gonna do with it yet - insurance companies have shit delayed with MLK day being yesterday. He thinks it's totaled though.

Yeah, my dad is fine. He's had experience with walking away from crashes lol. When I was really little, he spun (spinned? span?) off the road, and rolled his car (Volvo at the time) several times, resulting in a fairly pancaked car. He was fighting with the paramedics the whole time saying he needed to get to his meeting on time - which was apparently all the indication my mom needed to know he was completely fine.

Honestly, when I read "T-boned by a Lays truck" I expected the damage to be much worse. That was an incredibly favorable impact point.
|
That's what happened to my car too, most likely aquaplanning combined with driving a bit too fast as I moved to pass another car. Insurance-mandated expert came to look at the wreck, tried to move the steering wheel, it moved fine, so he declared it had nothing to do with direction and wasn't a vehicle defect. After the accident, when the wheels were straight the steering wheel was at 180° from its intended position. I can be an expert too at this rate. (It most likely wasn't a vehicle defect, I'm just baffled at how idiotic his conduct and statement were.)

Help I am stress
Edit: glad your dad is ok Soniv, posted before reading.

Yeah, when I imagine getting t-boned by a truck I also imagine nearly dying in the process. I'm very glad your dad is ok.

Well, it was a box truck, not a full flat bed. Also, it was incredibly icy up in New England from what I read, so I assume speeds were fairly slow. Just pure inertia damage at that point. My dad said it was a pretty young kid driving the truck, so he probably didn't know how to handle it in the ice.

Yeah, the ice is pretty bad down here in PA too. On Sunday there was a 57 car pileup nearby.

Jury duty, hour 1: sitting, listening for numbers called. None my own. Hunger setting in sooner than expected, may have to eat shoe or other juror.
