Next thing you know I found my way to the subforum and took advice on how to play tristana by reading said yordle's thread. I want to say the thread was made by Loco but don't quote me on that. A few thousand posts later, an amount of money I will not think about later here I am. A guy who still sucks at League but has found a pretty cool community. And now you all know the story of how Parn wandered into the subforum and watches you all while you post. | ||

I got my cat from a rescue shelter (although he was still a kitten when he was there). The paperwork was fairly simple and I took him home a couple hours later. | ||

There was a line for visitations so I couldn't get anything better before my wife and I went home. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/5BtsDjC.jpg) She's an absolutely gorgeous Maine Coon and very gentle, but was definitely overwhelmed by her circumstances. She was surrendered very recently to a different shelter and then transferred, which also has a lot to do with why I couldn't take her home Saturday. Where I live you can't adopt cats from shelters unless they've been spayed/neutered and are up to date on their shots and vaccinations, which all has to be done or verified by a veterinarian. Because my cat was a recent transfer that hadn't been done yet. It's annoying but these are sensible policies designed to keep disease and the stray population in check without having to take direct action. Despite the best intentions of many adopters, it's all too common for adopted cats to end up in the wild again or for families to end up with kittens they don't want or can't afford. Anyway I'm naming the cat 美優 (Miyu). It's a perfect name that captures her best qualities, is the kind of precious pet name I was looking for, and has bonus points for the pun. | ||
