Ok it's not that big a deal, but there's a pause with you arm entering the water, you keep it straight. While not devastating, I'm pretty sure I instantly start the "catch" or whatever and start pulling where really my other arm should still be pulling. Basically I think I'm windmilling instead of freestyling. Also you keep making it sound like I look like an idiot in the water but I'm trying to go from untrained swimmer to comfortably swim half a mile efficient swimmer  | ||

I'm just saying being manipulated into buying something you otherwise wouldn't have cause the girl on the commercial was showing cleavage would embarrass me. And studies show that this works really well. | ||

Reason being, any time your arm is moving forward underwater, you're generating drag. Your arms should start straight as possible, pull in a slightly S shaped line down the front of your body, and then exit the water and snap back to straight as quickly as possible. Stretching your arms super far like that over and over is actually much harder than most people realize, especially since on the down portion you're using the muscles against the water. | ||
