Holy shit this new boost location is fucking hilarious. Although this is probably gonna be like the fountain hooks at TI3 where I thought it was cool but the more I learned about it the more I realized it quite dumb.

It's not going mega nostalgia, these are themes that appear somewhere in the 7 hours of trilogy, jesus would it be bland if I couldn't list 8 different basic themes/plotlines/whatever in 7 hours of movie time. I for one am not really a fan of the original trilogy, but that doesn't mean it didn't have plot and decent characters and stuff. I'm just saying I wouldn't expect anything to make sense when it's coming from J. J. Abrams. I mean fuck, he's one of the creators of the live action series Fringe. Also, übermensch hidden in rockets.

From what I understand from the youtube comments lightsaber cross guards are cannon and in other Star Wars thingies lightsaber discs and whips have shown up.
So, yeah, I guess at this point I don't care what they do with light sabers as long as the sith don't resurrect jar jar binks and start romantic relationships with cheesy lines about sand. If being all action means they ignore mitochlorians too I might actually see it, it'll probably be better than Hobbit 2 was.

Oh, there's no way it was intended, it's a just a matter of whether abusing it is legit or not. I mean, I'm amused by the creativeness, but if I was LDLC or an LDLC fan I'd be salty as fuck.

But what makes it any worse then other boosts? I think it's amazing and really fucking awesome that Fnatic actually figured out that you could do this instead of just scrimming other teams.

That field of view is what's make it very very different from other boost spots.

Well it's not really that people wanted to just keep 1.6 maps it's that instead of looking for better community made maps they forced their own map on the community as well as their own veto system that randoms the last map. I'm not sure if they changed the veto system but basically that ruined the major they did it in(Think it was IEM but my memory is bad atm.).
