The nature of increasing our knowledge has changed quite a bit. For instance, lots of important science used to be done by individuals, some real geniuses. The age of the Einstein-esque genius, though, is kind of over, as most science is done by teams of people nowadays rather than individuals. Another fact: the age of a scientist's greatest contribution, on average, has been increasing for decades as it takes longer and longer to figure out anything actually new.
When you throw computers into things stuff just gets weirder. For instance, a team of people designed a program that tried to figure out the movement of a triple pendulum (that is, one pendulum attached to the weight of another, attached to another, swinging). Single pendulums are simple and we figured out doubles mathematically awhile ago, but triples appeared to be pure chaos. They designed the program worked on it by making hypothetical equations and testing them against the actual behavior, all by itself. It eventually spat out an equation that predicted the movement perfectly. The catch: the equation was so complex that it was incomprehensible to the very scientists who started the experiment. That is, they can see it, they can use it, but they have no concept of why it is the way it is and as a result they can't actually say that they understand triple pendulums any better.

Wei2 plz. its not "black people" doing this its people with agendas. there are very militant groups that try to escalate the violence in these situations for whatever reason they have. Many times the people doing the rioting aren't even from the community in which the riots are occurring, this is a very different situation from when Vancouver rioted like mad on the backs of a stanley cup loss, where it was ACTUALLY the people in Vancouver rioting over it, because that was spontaeneous but you don't see people saying that canada was really portraying themselves poorly after those riots. i have no doubt that some of this violence has been planned as the reaction to a no indictment result. and you don't generalize an entire race of people based on the actions of few. We don't go around talking about how power hungry and paranoid asians are because of north korea.

ALL HAIL ROFFLES ya'll toxic as fuck. this ferguson shit is fucking hilarious. maybe it's the #asianpriviledge or whatever, but holy shit black people making themselves look like fucking tools when they do shit like this. like, how is destroying and torching your own neighborhood supposed to improve your public image? Now don't get me wrong, there's definitely discrimination that happens, and that minorities are the whipping boy, but holy shit, they do not do a good job as a community of portraying themselves well to the public.
I don't think it's just black people. Take any very tight-nit group and throw some perceived discrimination at them, they'll lash out in whatever they can. It's more about making a statement (the statement being "we're mad"), there's not a lot of thought behind it, or thought concerning the consequences. Minorities are the easy examples, but religious groups work too. It's almost expected to hold something, whether it be riot or protest, which makes it even easier.

It's okay, the news media talks down on whites all the time. Heck, they even try to use Hispanics to give whites a bad image LOL. Oh, but it's not "race baiting" at all!
*sigh* It's like people can't be fucking happy unless they're shitting all over another group.

When will people get it through their thick skulls that human beings are fucking morons and doing dumb shit has nothing to do with your skin colour.
Wei reminds me of these racist Afrikaans farmers, I guess US equivalent would be a redneck.

Regardless of your agenda, at the root of the issue is the undeniable fact that minorities (especially blacks and hispanics) are vastly disproportionately represented in the low end of the economic spectrum. In conjunction with that, poor communities have a much higher tendency for crime.
It's not really a surprise that the majority of these looters and shit are black. That's not speaking to the issue of whether black people suck or are criminals or whatever. It's just a systemic problem where black communities simply have a higher incidence of crime and violence not necessarily because they're awful people, but because those communities simply just foster such behavior.
You don't see this behavior in predominantly white or asian communities, because those communities are typically much higher up on the socio-economic scale. Very rarely do you have asian dominated ghettos. White ghettos (aka redneck country) have similar problems as black/hispanic ghettos. It's nothing to do with skin color and everything to do with socio-economic standing. Unfortunately, the majority of people in bad socio-economic communities are black.
Ignoring the harsh reality of half the spectrum of American society does nothing. If you want to fix a problem, you first have to realize that there is one.

Wei reminds me of these racist Afrikaans farmers, I guess US equivalent would be a redneck. I'm not saying riots are a product of race. What I'm saying is this individual riot makes said minorities look terrible. I'm more complaining about the idiocy of falling for the exact racebait trap that is this riot. The world is watching intently at your response, and instead of doing a massive peacful protest, the black community of Ferguson manages to cock it up by burning and looting businesses and houses, firing shots at police officers, and creating an overall dangerous environment for their own community.

I've been dominating my Dota2 games since changing names to Muck Fichigan. This is certainly not a coincidence. O-H-I-O.

Teach me how to last hit, I'm averaging under 40 per 10 right now At least until I get my first major item, then it usually jumps up to 60-70...
I'm also a dirty TB/Dusa picker, sue me.

Last hitting with TB is super easy. You need to just like... Practice? If you can do it in league you can do it here.

Just go into a custom game and last hit with SF no items and no levels for awhile. Then repeat the process with someone that has higher base damage like QoP. There's also certain tricks when dealing with tower shots. I can't remember the numbers off hand but generally you want to get in one attack on the range creep before you go to last hit if they getting attacked by tower and same for melees. If you above a certain damage threshold you don't have to do this, I think it's 80 damage but just check ingame.
Aside from that don't care too much about your cs at 40. Pub games you don't always get free lanes so 40 is perfectly fine in a contested lane. It's about how you transition your farm afterwards. You want around 120-150 at 20 minutes with TB and maybe 100 with Dusa. Really it's more about how you farm the map than just farming the lane, plenty of people know how to last hit in lane but then they don't know how to move around jungle -> lane effectively. TB is an absolute beast, think you can hit 200 in 20 with him if you get a good start.

Ugh i still need to get Smash, but can't because RENT. I don't want to have to pay for things, someone else do it.
|
Unless you're legit just bad at last hitting the creep itself(go practice like Numy says), then it's more about lane control for your lane cs and jungle+lane control+map awareness(and knowing when to actually show up to fights, but that's a skill even most pro carries are still perfecting) for your total game cs.
Some things that are actually pretty simple that will really up your farming tempo is tread swapping properly and being aware of the game timer to stack jungle camps. If you can't clear the stack talk to your team, I guarantee someone on it can help and wants that xp(and whatever gold they steal on 'accident').
