Sadly, I have never shopped at either. Not sure if Publix is even anywhere in PA, but Costco is (I just don't know where). Sam's Club is my wholesale place to go. | ||

Publix subs are the hype southern thing to eat. 18-30 year olds wait in line for 20 minutes in a grocery store to get them. lol my brother had all of his groomsmen go get publix subs and we chilled with some beer whiskey and subs before we suited up for the wedding. Publix is however, a southern chain and there is not a single one north of the mason dixon. What makes pub subs so good, is that they use boars head meat+cheese, you can get anything in the deli section you want on it, all fresh produce to put on top, and they bake their own bread from scratch. publix is THE best chain bakery i've ever had. as a baker. a favorite in orlando is a chicken tender sub with mac n cheese. when Jameis winston (Florida state university) the national champion, got in trouble for shoplifting king crab legs, the south mocked him because he stole the crab on a week where the chicken tender sub was on sale. | ||

Decent enough prices, good eatin so it's worked out for me when I haven't felt like cooking.(read Parn was too busy gaming to cook a proper meal.) Also the chicken tender sub thing is fucking amazing. Argh, I don't think I ma have the cash on hand for a day 1 Oras purchase. Unless... | ||

I grinned more broadly than I should have when I started Marmy's video, mostly because the reverse happens more often with the accents. Are French classes common in the US? Never mentioned by any of the graduates here, and I'd have assumed Spanish to be a more popular choice. | ||

Already can't remember how they do school in Belgium, have fun with UK/US/Canada. You guys start in elementary/primary school, which you call grade school (Xth grader and all that) till ~11, then it's high school (junior: 12-14, senior: 15-18), then it's the end of the mandatory school system but a bunch of people go to college, is that right? English started getting taught to kids in primary school a few years ago in France, I don't know how effective it is because only kids I know are my cousins, one is a slacker and the other has trouble in class in general. But I don't know whether or not we do that weird "1: English 2: Spanish OR 1: German 2: English" thing anymore. | ||

that has nothing to do with school systems, you just forget languages super fast if you don't need/use them I took only a one year break from learning chinese and the setbacks were real already Also for us it's 1) English 2) choose between French and Latin | ||

For example, where I live has 4 elementary schools that go from kindergarden-4th grade. They all funnel into a middle school for 5-6th, junior high for 7-8th, and highschool for 9-12th. I've had people look at me like I had 2 heads when I told them about the 4 elementary schools, but it makes sense to them when they find out there is as many kids in my graduating class as their entire highschool holds. | ||

I think the numbers Alaric is giving are age numbers, not grade numbers, in which case he is more or less accurate. A lot of people send their kids to "pre-school" which has been becoming increasingly popular over the years, which can start as early as 2.5 but depends on the kid a lot. Kindergarten (the beginning of elementry school) runs 5-6, after that it switches to grades. Economically speaking college or at least vocational school are pretty much mandatory since a high school degree is worthless by itself. | ||
