Soem of the things you guys are saying are legit, but others are just ignorant (which isn't an issue, but understand that you guys should try playing the game a bit, it's pretty fun). Resurgence of the Storm is something you level, which means it is at the expense of something else significant that you could have leveled, and also has a massive CD. I don't see where this goes wrong as opposed to a buyback mechanic. Yeah, I'm saying that in the last game of EG vs C9, it just seemed too good, and that deaths didn't mean jack shit until you've finally burned through all the resurgence, which took forever, also prolonged that last game quite long.
Also, I'm not a fan of buybacks in Dota as well. :/ so there's that too.

Unfamiliar viewers are always going to understand the impact and strength of spells based in physicality more than magic or arcane type stuff. Compare annie's spells to gragas' for example. none of annies spells are really impactful looking when they go off nor do they look very threatening. but as players we know that tibbers is a big deal, and annies spells can turn a fight. gragas however, is throwing himself all around slamming people with a big cask, and hurling a giant exploding barrel. its easier to see his power without understanding the game, compare to annies particle effect based spells. Ehhh, Tibbers is pretty obvious. But what I will say is LoL does a pretty good job of correlating visual effects with strength of spell. they've done a good job lately, but there have been some problems between exactly how damaging some spells can become with Ap scaling that don't match how they feel from the visual and audio perspective. like command attack into command dissonance, that can do 70% of a characters HP, but its super non threatening feeling. scaling in general can have these problems. but ori is a big offender in this. zileans bombs are really wimpy feeling but can be extremely damaging as well. Feast is probably one of the worst. it went for comedic value with his sound effects and animation is super slight, but its incredibly damaging. Kennen relies heavily on his sound effects for the feeling of impact which makes it a good play experience, but with commentators talking over, really hurts spectators. Nami actually has kind of the oppsite. everything on nami except her auto attack buff is BIG. the bubble draws attention and looks like its powerful, the heal is good, an her ulti seems incredibly strong, but everything is kind of weak damaging, and most of its power is hidden to a viewer, especially her tidal wave. riptide is another good example of that. it seems very strong and powerful, but riptide is kind of a wimpy move in its actual impact on a game.

Woaaaaaaaaah there's going to be a Warcraft live action movie?
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiit. When I found out, I was slightly disappointed that its WC2-era (only started during WC3), but after something from Warcraft interests me (the Warlord story trailers/the WoW books), I spend hours reading up on the lore. Warcraft lore da bess.
Now I'm excited. 2nd War seems much more manageable than the crazyness of the 3rd War/War of the Ancients etc.

Also Zuna was playing Abefor (sp) the last two games, who is the most ridiculous champion. However, its perfect for Zuna because when he does an Ultimate Evo his job is to just go ham all the time. Its really a pretty easy game to follow, but for me it was really unfun to play in the Solo Queue because everything is so communication based.
