To be somewhat fair(I still think it's hilarious, and that the competition is infantile and the idea that it's 'already eSports' is fucking hilarious), the drafts were apparently done before any games were played. So EG, the 'real' team, never had a chance to react to C9s draft after seeing it in game. Still lollin though.

I'd be willing to be a very large amount of SEA/Chinese players had SOME DotA background, even if it wasn't nearly pro level. It can't be proven so I'm not going to harp on it and write an article about it(because it's also silly), but I could totally see that being a thing.

I know that hyhy, chawy and tofuboi came from team scythe in dota and I think some of the Vietnamese players (I wanna say archie, safety and nixwater at least) were dota players as well

Watching it for the 1st time I think it def has potential. Lots of action from the get go. Though I prob wont play it, since laning phase is my fav part of LoL. Also I feel you really need a 5 man team to experience the depth in teamplay unlike LoL.

The Koreans probably played it all including Chaos Many Koreans also have BW backgrounds . Some few pro, some semi pro, but I think most Korean gamers played that at one point in time on a fun level.

I think Piglet even won a courage and was waiting to be drafted. At OGN Spring where Ozone won vs Blaze, Homme told us about winning SC tournaments very early on.
