Well,that's an unfair comparison. COD is all about the action portions, what you're describing is like if SSB had a mini game before every battle where you had to walk Mario around his apartment, get dressed, make breakfast, find his keys, and then catch a ride with Luigi to the battle arena.
You own fucking CS:GO, the best current FPS which also happens to be the most popular and most competitive esport in the genre.
If you want something different, go download one of the many meh F2P shooters out there like Blacklight Retribution or buy battlefield 4 or something, at least battlefield has something going for it. CoD has NOTHING of worth.

Please, Jump Packs > Jetpacks. Sure Jetpack gives you 12" movement and HoW, but being able to thruster move in the Assault phase is way more useful. And it makes them Relentless and does't make them Fall Back 3D6"! So good.
Upon my arrival home from being amazing at the gym, I will be looking for friends to goof around in ARDM with(that's Dota2 stuff). I care not for your level of ability at the game, only your ability to have funs.
