It's called Heroes Charge. And it's not even trying to hide how much it has stolen. ? Have you not heard of DOTA LEGENDS, it even had a 1.1 million dollar prizepool for its most recent ESPORTS tournament
No but I have now. This sounds fantastic.

I work for a contractor with 19 major government contracts. When the Texas/US government doesn't get its money, it's not very happy. My job is to make sure they get their money, 24/7. Which usually means when something doesn't work on the DB side, I have to fix it. Being perpetually on call without getting paid for it sucks, being under paid sucks even more.
But come january, I'll be getting a big raise. Or I'll go work for my competitor :3.

Entry salaried position for me is 15 days vacation and 12 holiday/floating holidays a year. No sick days though unless you've used all your vacation days and you work it out with your boss or something.

Please sir, the Silmarillion is wonderful and I'll hear no bad word against it.
Edit: For the discussion, I'm a software developer and I get 17 holidays (including sick days) a year.

Your dwarf synopsis was good.
Though at all 3 points you told me my ideas were "rare" which usually means no.

Irrigation/landscaping for me, most of our work is commercial, so we don't really have any major competitors since we're active from Binghamton NY to West of State College, PA and around the Allentown/Bethlehem area.
We have a couple big projects coming next year, 2 water parks and a half mile raised walkway, which will be interesting logistically, since we're working ~40 feet in the air with 2 inch poly piping.

Drier than the Sahara? We're talking about Tolkien's beautiful prose, not your mother.

Germany. Also standard work hours are 35-40 a week. When you get sick, it doesn't count against your days off. If you get sick during your days off, you can get a doctors note and get the days off back. (Your health insurance actually pays your company money when you got a doctors note. When you are sick for longer than 60 days your company stops paying you but the health insurance pays you a reduced % of your salary).
Most jobs are salaried here though. Still, work time is pretty much always in the 35-40 range. There are laws regulating that, but I don't know the exact wording from the top of my head. But you pretty much need to be a "leading employee" to be excluded from that protection (defined as being someone whose work has significant impact on the entire company and is in a leadership position).
Physical labor gets paid by the hour. Regular is capped at 40h a week. Regular work hours can be up to 10 hours a day (with certain - mandated - breaks). You can be ordered to do up to 2 hours overtime a day (which do not count against the weekly 40h limit). Overtime is 50% more money per hour. Working on saturdays per default 50% more per hour. Working on sundays and official holidays 100% more money. If the company isn't careful (its usually regulated in the work contract how those bonuses are applied, but if not...) you can actually stack sundays+overtime. But its more common to go with "highest multiplicator applies only". Saturdays + overtime works though.
Edit: Your boss can demand a doctors note from the first day sick though, and mandatory from the second on (even if he doesnt want it).

I wonder what the mechanism for that is, same for TotalBiscuit. Are they constantly searching TL for their own name to see if they're being talked about? Do they have informants that tip them off when their name comes up?
