3/4 of the games I feel Soo was clearly the better player, then he overextends and fuck it up. | ||

I haven't watched much HotS, but in WoL, that's was the nature of the ZvT matchup, where Z gets far ahead in terms of economy + food count, then T's superior army efficiency should be able to bust through the brute forces of Zerg. I'm assuming it's somewhat similar in HotS, but I could be completely off base, and Soo chokes super hard. | ||

The Ultra-Infestor army was basically unbeatable if executed properly. | ||

Soo seemed really strong. He was macroing well and making the right decisions. He kept Taja on the defensive for almost every single game. Soo was taking the initiative and just playing really well. Then something happened and he decided to throw the game away. 3 times. And now he is eliminated. | ||

I've just been watching a little WCS and Terran so far has needed really good widow mine placement or a zerg overextending and getting kited or into siege tanks to win against a good lategame zerg comp. Not that I've watched nearly enough to know for sure. Games have seemed to follow the pattern of: Zerg has high supply, but weak army early, must kind of macro/turtle till muta. Muta is so annoying that terran has to be way better than zerg to get an engage, but if they do its a slaughter, then lategame its the opposite where terran would get steamrolled if not for kiting zerg over defenses. | ||
