What I got from Asmo's character selection process (or at the very least what I figure he should do) is like I said earlier. He should have every right to pick those characters he finds will make for a balanced/fun/cool experience or will fit his campaign in this scenario, and to reject those characters who won't on his whims, as fair as he may want it to be. I personally also think (again assuming this is being streamed or recorded) he should be picking players who will provide entertainment value in whatever way possible (whether being good at the game/interesting RP/etc). | ||

The schedule right now is something to the effect of this: after Thanksgiving, look at characters; sometime in December, have some practice sessions; late December, finalize group; January, start campaign (especially since it gives me time to read the DMG). | ||
