Parnage and I are getting some trading done between regions, i've set up a farm and we're finding the ideal way to get through everything quickly. you make a good deal of money and xp doing crafty or and tradey stuff in archeage. We're in the beginning stages of getting a setup up and running to just make money. eventually we're going to try to get our own island and stuff. :D

Is this really just dependent on how quickly I press forward? I am having a lot of difficulties to input correctly and use the correct move at will. Any suggestions? all characters have 4 tilts and 4 smash attacks and 5 B(special) moves (neutral and directional) and then 5 aerials (neutral and directional) and a jab. and a grab. tilts are when you tilt the stick in a direction and press A, smashes are when you "smash" the stick in a direction forcefully and press and either hold to charge or immediately let go. So it's purely how fast I move the circle pad? Yes. This is misleading as speed is not actually relevant as it more of a you need the stick to be in a certain posistion but its not held at that position.

Can Bowser's forward B be blocked? It looks like a throw...

If it works like it did in past games, it depends on where in the hitbox you get hit. If you're on the outer range of it, it's just a normal slashing attack. If you get hit closer to the center of the hitbox, he grabs you. That said, I'm not sure if shielding it changes the behavior (if it would grab you when you're shielding even if it's the outside of the hitbox).
I was smashing kids with DK last night, I'm really liking him in this game.
edit - also, in case anyone isn't aware yet (not sure how common knowledge it is), dash dancing is kinda doable in sm4sh
If you're dashing right, you have to input a dash to the right again and then you can dash back to the left.
→, → ←, ← →, etc.
It's a bit awkward, but it definitely works and I'm getting more used to it and starting to put it in my play here and there.

Can you shield during it?

Maybe he means out of it, like how Marth's dash dance put him in standing briefly which meant you could act out if it.
I wouldn't know though, I haven't played it nearly enough.

Oh. I just wasn't sure if you were talking about the dash dancing or Bowser's side b =P
I'm not sure.

i'd be simply impressed if you could dashdance consistently on the 3ds without breaking your control stick

Well, mechanically, it's like twice as many inputs as melee dash dancing. I do keep thinking to myself that my DS is gonna end up breaking lol. But so far so good.
Not that I can dash dance nearly as quickly, but it's still definitely usable

So... I'm doing some trade runs and thinking. Parnage you up for some high seas explorin after work?
