I want to buy some serious sam off steam since its on such a big sale right now (90%) ...Im feeling some SS3:BFE or old school first encounter but idk..
Anybody ever even play Serious Sam here? YOU IN? I could sell my CSGO skins and get a 4pack or something if people are....SERIOUS!
(The first one literally gave me the most retarded phobia ever - fear of video game water. Fucking sewer level piranhas.)

Pokemon has many end game activities, from catch them all to battle power. As far as battle tower is concerned, there are many ways to build a good team.
FFTA/2 have more or less one thing to do - quests - and there is pretty much a single way to build a good team: beyond dual wielding Humes and Doublecast Vierras all other classes/strategies are crap.

Holy shit i broke up a FF conversation, my apologies.
7>X>FFT>12>13>9 (Fucking slow battle loading/animations/flow killed this COMPLETELY for me > 8 > Rest
Honorable mention goes to Crisis core / dirge of cerberus since i fucking loved both of them but they arent really main FF games and i mostly love them because FF7...Solid games though.

Do you honestly think 8 is better than 4?

I haven't played 12 or 13 so I can't comment on those, but I would rank 4,5,6 all above 8 and 9 at least.

I used to play FFTA and A2 but then I started playing disagea and now I'm too elitist for either of them.

FFIX is the best of the numbered games.
FFT is the best Final Fantasy.
Also FFXI and FFXIV are both great for what they are.

6 > X > 7 > 9 > 5 >12 > X-2 > 8 > 13. Those are the only non MMO/Tactics FF's I've played and ranked for myself.
Only FF game I literally did not get an ounce of enjoyment playing was 13.

I think FFTA/A2 can be great games if they were moved to the mobile platform. In fact, I think a FFTA/A2-like game has a lot of potential.
If I were to design a similar game though, I would not make entirely random characters spawn on the map which you can recruit. Instead I think it would be a fantastic idea if all the characters are unique and the players/donors/important people/etc. can contribute to the game by adding new characters with short bios/short quests/etc. to the game.
Think Prison Architect.

4 is the one with cecil? Fucking great game tbf but i never finished it or "got into" it since i borrowed it from my teacher (yes, my teacher was fucking GOD.) and his discs were scratched to fuck, borrowed 9 too but that only froze on cutscenes and i could open/close my PS1 to skip them..
Reminds me i had a corrupted memory card when i played through 9 and kept getting thrown hours back lol.
EDIT: Yango 13 is a completely skippable game but 12 is really unique and extremely fun, so much side-content and just fun to be had. Highly recommend playing it.

Just thinking about FF12, god i abused the fuck out of that game on subsequent playthroughs, so many hidden items and areas you can get to if you know how. Also had a system where i would stop and grind until X at certain parts to make life easy.

How you got the strongest weapon in the game was a little infuriating though. excalibur II levels of annoyance. except much worse because of the mechanic
|
Isn't the Zodiac spear the strongest weapon in the game? Easily obtainable if you know the pre-requisite. Easily obtainable the first time you reach the entrance to the side-zones that contain it too. Hue hue hue.
Some of the weapons were ridiculously fucking hard to obtain though, there was a dagger or nodachi that was really notorious.
Fuck i really want to play FF12 just remembering it now.

I don't know how to get my TS to show people in channels again, when I login now it says insufficient permissions and puts me in as guest which I think is part of the reason =[
