When I read your posts I feel like im chewing bubblegum listening to obnoxious k-pop with bright pink headphones while surrounded by the cast members from Glee singing something annoying with smiles on their faces while cotton candy clouds fly on in the sugary pink sky

Give me good ol' fashioned CIS dota any day. I have the same thoughts I'm starting to love playing League a lot right now, but I still can't get into enjoying watching it competitively as I do with Dota 2. I do like watching it though, but something it's just zzzz....
Are you able to watch the more interesting games from worlds? Like any of the below? Did you enjoy any of them or you don't watch it at all? I think the casters are decent, but sometimes detract from what's actually going on in game. Although I agree that sometimes the teams just don't want to fight, and so first blood won't ever happen. Also Flash causes a lot of issues with early game action
+ Show Spoiler [maybe spoiler] + Fnatic vs OMG game 2? The two c9 vs Shield games from today? Alliance vs Shield from yesterday? Fnatic vs SSB game 1? TPA vs Royal Club game 1? TSM vs Royal Club game 2? SK vs TSM game 2? Kabum vs Alliance game 2?

That's what I try to look at to, and predict what teams are trying to set up for a couple minutes in advance. Unless it's EU, then they just sit in their base for 50 minutes, until someone wins.

I just treat the map like my rear view mirror. Cause I don't have one.

I was just treated to one of Scip's serenades.
It was like a chorus of angels.

There was that game in LPL with the Sion mid, support Blitz and jungle Elise that I watched on VoD. After they did a laneswap, they set up an invade and later a dive on the lone enemy at purple-side bottom t1. After seeing it happened I rewinded the VoD and started only watching the minimap until it happened. The way they played the pre-1:55 part, controlling vision to make sure their path wasn't warded, then Blitz adding some to keep track of the jungler and the timing at which they all converged so that it wasn't too obvious (can't remember who Sion was against but he could shove super hard so he could have been sitting in the middle of the lane that the enemy team woudn't have had vision of him), it was all planned out and stunning in execution. And then it was just the roaming 3-man ganking and it was glorious.
About LoL lacking kills, you've got no keep in mind that if your opponent is playing solid (as in not yolodiving you because he has a lead), every single death is much more punishing in LoL than it is in DotA, especially offlane (should be mid too, but the amount of burst gives you more venues to come back, esp. with a gank). The meta's been about lategame (and relying on objective control more than lane dominance/forcing early fights) for a very long time so it isn't worth it trying to crush your opponent in lane in general. "Lane bullies" are champs like Syndra who's got strong utility/wave clear/sieging, pick comps use Ahri who's still a play maker able to solo kill late game, etc. you need someone to be as powerful as 70%-damage-reduction-from-level-6 Alistar to be a strong laner/midgame teamfighter who tapers off and still get used, or the huge impact on the whole map of a Lee Sin.
Why can't we get some Malphite, Brand, Malzahar or Cho'Gath? D:
Edit: reading the comments about 6.82 and people complaining about how strong Doppelganger seems to be ("man, 0.5s invulnerability on a low cooldown, you just dodge spells that have already been thrown at you") makes me laugh a bit considering LoL's had that for forever in Fizz. On the other hand we all hate him (well I'm sure MoonBear loves him but he's too much of a Pokeman not to have skewed criteria).

^ not to mention you know, phase shift....
People are just super sensitive because its PL. and they are scared of him.
|
Blink, leap, invis etc. all disjoint certain abilities too. Sounds like a noob infested comments section.
|
The concept of damage dealing illusions is what actually makes phantom lancer strong. The phase itself is irrelevant but the skill on a low cooldown that generates illusions
|
Still don't know if this new PL will be just another worse version of Naga/TB like the old one got nerfed to.
|
well pl/naga/tb all have different functions, the old pl was actually still very strong past its weak early game, its strength was just in actually fighting and not split pushing.
TB is actually just broken, probably the only hero in dota aside from meepo that's legitimately broken atm
