Endgame content is only good enough to keep you hooked when you're already addicted. That's a good one. I love leveling things. Getting powerleveled always sucked for me. A lot of people bitched about the grindiness of questing, but I'd take leveling over getting a free 90 any day of the week - and that's coming from someone who hasn't played since halfway through WotLK I've enjoyed leveling things too, but WoW's leveling was abyssmal.

Leveling was fun until you got to level 20. I enjoyed Arena and group PvE thats about it.

leveling is could be fun, but getting all the way to 90 was not something I wanted to do. WoD content will be 90+ , so why not already be prepare for it? I also wanted a chance to do the end game raids which would have taken me forever to from level 1.

This must have been how they talked Galt into it.

Leveling is so you can familiarize yourself with the class, get rotations down and shit like that. Besides if you havent done it once youre missing like.. a shitload of the game

As I sit in an hour long que to try to play a game I am not even sure I can play I have to question, what the fuck am I doing with my life. You know besides cooking baked ziti..

Will still be beneficial for you learning your class.
Its not like rotations are overly complicated in the first place. I always looked up the basic rotation and began implementing the parts of it i could as soon as i got the ability, then when i had the full rotation i'd practice it at every opportunity that helped me quite a bit when i was raiding.

new mmo starts are so stupid and always the same.
hour long queues, half the people rushing to max level and start clearing content until they hit any kind of wall. Some people foolishly cave in and go to a lower population server. People who have valid complaints and suggestions are being told to "go back to WoW"
Then people actually go back to WoW over 3 months until the servers get empty, the most full server go to medium and the server that didnt have a queue go to barren wasteland. Then the publisher wants to cash in on server transfers and doesnt instantly offer server merges and free transfers, making more people quit. Then quit quit quit, barren wasteland anywhere but on one server if lucky. Then the mmo is on life support and later the dev studio gets axed.
and then after some time the game will go pay to win to cash in on the last remaining suckers being stuck in it.
At that point you have 1-2 playable servers

One of the best Broadway shows I've ever seen (and have done so multiple times) was Into The Woods. I did not know that Disney is making it into a movie, and with this cast, I AM WAY BEYOND PUMPED

Jesus christ, if you got any more pessimistic you'd be working in a Hot Topic. Chill out duder. I'm not sure how you see things but even strait up MMO failures didn't play out how you describe. I know it's cool and edgy to be all hating against the mmo genre these days and admittedly you can find good reasons to be annoyed but geeze are you wanting to sound like this? It's a different kind of game looking to do something different, and I like trying new things. If I ever get so jaded I can only hope someone is able to rekindle a spark of childlike ambition and hope for games so I don't end up sounding like that.

I mean, yes.
I do really enjoy Johnny Depp as well. It's really overall just a solid cast.
I have no idea if it will be a musical at all, but the soundtrack for the musical is just amazing.

I like Johnny Depp but as this point I'm a bit perplexed.

Guys, it's Tuesday, right? My internal calander is none-existent...All i know is I work out of town Thursday/Friday and have a semi-5 day weekend to babysit my brothers....

Aion, Rift, SWTOR, GW2, Warhammer online, Wildstar, Tabula Rasa, tera online, pretty sure i forgot like 50.
Well, some of them actually did a bit better than i describe, but i dont think any of them have a positive player base growth except for a boost when going F2P.
Im not pessimistic, this is facts. Your are of course welcome to enjoy your new game, maybe this time its different and it grows like EVE online is doing. It does have Scott Hartsman as CEo, right? So it has that going for it, Rift was doing ok until he left and he was dev for EQ2 when it was still a good game and not a WoW clone.
