No stopping and spinning on shootouts, more penalties move into the "2 in a game = suspension" category, a few lines are moved slightly, fines for diving players, and face-off stays in the attacking zone if play was stopped from an attempt to create a scoring chance. | ||

Doesn't play already start from the attacking zone in that way? Like if play stops from goaltending or icing then it stays... What scenarios would be changed? | ||

I think the shootout rule is just a ruling on whether spinning counts as backward motion (which isn't allowed in a penalty shot), they're saying that it does. | ||

I'm a step away from buying the Scions box set and getting that list together, but I've also been interested in trying other armies. Namely, a full Iyanden themed Wraith army (probably getting the Ghost Warriors box, some Spiritseers, and then filling in other things as needed) or a Daemon army with a Nid-zilla-esque MC focus, Daemon Princes and the like. (inspired by a list I saw on Torrent of Fire). Basically I was thinking it might be cool for my second army do be one that does things that my main Necron one doesn't do well at all: MCs/FMCs and Psykers. Bleh decision making. I feel like the Scions are likely the most fiscally responsible decision (since I already have the Knight, book, and part of the army), but on the other hand they lack a lot of variety and play somewhat similar to my Necrons (short/mid range shooting with a reliance on vehicle support), though less durable with better AP. On the other hand, the other armies might be slightly more expensive, but would be a somewhat different playing experience. | ||
