I only watched the first couple episodes of SnK/AoT, but I read a good portion of the manga. Anyone who's done both know how close they are?

Also, I missed when Space Marine was on sale during Summer Sale, but it's 75% off now. Score.

I only watched the first half of the anime but it was pretty darn close. The first few episodes were almost exactly the same as the beginning of the manga.

The anime discussion thread is probably the most unfriendly thread to read if you don't know too much about anime lol. Trying to see what ones are worth looking into but yeah, maybe that isn't the right place to start. I'll just keep doing my browsing and when something catches my eye I'll watch it

Any dedicated anime board/thread on the internet is biased or circlejerky as fuck. Watch what you like, there's always someone who hates your favorite thing or obsesses over shit you think is boring and stupid.

My friend crashed at my place for a few days while he was on break from grad school, and we watched LCS and played a couple Team Builders/ARAMs. It was pretty fun, so I figured might as well kick around for a while until the stress starts to get to me or I get Plat.

Team builder was such an amazing implementation for me personally. Honestly winning and losing is a big deal but the majority of my stress in this game comes from teammates and Team builder just sorta takes the whole opening negotiation away by saying yo if you take me I'm going to play this champion, I loathe blind pick and I was able to completely overcome it just not to deal with pre game draft no talkers/ complainers I guess thats why I normally didn't play at all with out 2+ people to q with

Yeah, I really agree with that, Blind Pick always felt like a crapshoot. It's nice to be like "I feel like playing x champion" and then being able to do it, and even decide if you want to accept/reject your matched team to a certain extent. I wonder if there would be any chance of it finding a way to ranked, but not since there are no bans and there would be mirror matches. Still, it made normals fun enough for me.

I'm amazed that teambuilder works for you guys. Usually it takes us so long to find team members that other people who are in the lobby leave due to being tired of waiting.

Usually if I really want to play X champion (Read: If I really want to play Darius) I just play some games of Dominion. I really, really love Dominion.

Also in attempt to bring this back to Off-Topic, what are you guys thoughts on Star Wars episode 7?

I'm interested in it but I don't have any real expectations of it. I'm going to see it because I'm curious, but I'm not sure if it'll have the same magic as episodes 4-6. Strangely enough, Guardians of the Galaxy almost felt like Star Wars episode 6, albeit in a weird way.

I don't feel that the prequels were that bad. (I still enjoyed them to be honest, especially episode 3) Not as enjoyable as the original trilogy, but let's be honest here, those were a tough act to follow.
