If i'm able to make a 1000 labor point staff thats better than pretty much everything you can find, but i know that 1000 labor points costs me 17 hours of time in game to accrue, i can charge someone more for it. or if i'm able to build and furnish someones house for 2k labor points i can charge significant amounts of money, including real money currency. The labor system is okay for the most part, but there needs to be some tweaking to the system. I feel like there is a huge advantage for paying customers in terms of time/efficiency of LP usage. A free player in archeage will get 5 LP regen per 5 minutes online, and no labor regen while offline. LP regen for the patrons is 10 per 5 online and 5 per 5 offline. They can pretend that this is to combat botting, but it's fairly harsh for f2p players. There are also labor pots in the marketplace which gives someone wanting to buy them a pretty huge advantage(restores 1000 labor with 12h cooldown, but no restrictions on account yet). The overall difference between a free player and a paying player is pretty huge. I think they said they read these comments, and are discussing things with XLGames. I hope things change, because it's fairly difficult to feel the freedom I think is needed for games like this. From my experience, it's too low for f2p players. For example, those coinpurse drop you get from mobs increase in LP cost for identification the later you go. Right now I have like 198 of the "noble's coinpurse", each costing me 4 lp to unlock them. Equipment loot dropping also seems very low. I have gotten only 1 item from a regular mob in the game so far. I am level 39. In some ways, it makes crafting much more important, but in other ways, it's frustratingly so because there's no way I can generate enough LP to upgrade by crafting/ keep up with the paying players. also PX what server/name on archeage if you are still playing? i added your puhctek on the server you played on. i've been loggin in for a few quests and logging back out. each time trying to figure out how to start crafting and kind of floundering. This religious discussion makes me really nervous, not because of the topic persay, but i live in the south, having any non-zealous religious ideas is fairly looked down upon. now in florida i'm more northern than the south of Georgia and the area, culturally, but it still seeps in. i've been chastised in a bar before for saying "god damn" by a group of people who then tried to convert me. in a 21+ bar. if it was a family restaurant i deserve to be chastised. but seriously. Welcome to the Bible Belt. Up here in the North, around where I live, we can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Catholic, but no one talks about religion much, I think. My parent's and their friend's are religious, but I'm not, I'm more a of a Deist/Agnostic. Something or someone is out there, but I don't really care that much about it. Maybe it's because where I lived in Florida but I never had this kind of experience, pretty secularishy stuff.
It's funny, because coming from Massachusetts and now working in biological field science my experience is pretty much the same as PX's except it's the other way around and perhaps less convert-y. People on the internet generally aren't kind to religion either, especially on youtube and reddit. I was extremely surprised to find anyone here discussing it in a positive manner, although I do think of you guys better than reddit. <3

So, this thought hit me, a friend that I'm not really fond of (I hate his guts, we always argue, and he even muted me on Vent), but he complained about 2GD during TI, but I want to hear his reactions if he watches The Summit 2 in December and they bring back the tub interview.
Merlini and maelk had a moment. There was a bubble bath, wine, and an interview. The bromance was strong.

I've mostly been questing/grinding as well because everything else involves a lot of labor + there's a bunch of things you can do. I want to hit 50, but I kind of get distracted by things. For example, I just used my rowboat to go across the sea. I went from Haranya to Nuia, came across an island(Thunder Isle?) that was run by a guild or something. They let me go explore around the island while watching me(I assume they thought I would steal their stuff or something), then I left without dying(got lucky). Pretty cool experience. haha. See screenshot if interested of random middle of the sea at night shot on the rowboat leaving that island. The graphics in this game are just beautiful to look at when doing things like gliding, fishing, sailing your boat, etc. + Show Spoiler + Hm. i will legitimately enjoy this game upon release, but i can't figure out where to go or what to do to start crafting a lot so i'm gonna wait on it for now. It'll be fun if i have a group i can play it with and we try to go build a town together or something.

Believe me that the original is no reason to scoff at it. It's a completely different game now and I enjoy it very much even though I suck at putting in the time so much. It doesn't even require that much time but I'm so bad at playing games consistently.

You're like moving the goalpost bigtime here. You asked about what was 'the word of god' with regard to contradictory laws/rules, we answered. You are meant to 'believe' in all of the Bible in its entirety, but that doesn't change that only certain parts within are 'the word of God' especially with regards to his law/rules vs the laws of man and its individual rulers and lawmakers. There is no contradiction there.
Every religion that follows the Bible is meant to follow EVERY law of God, any individuality of the breakdowns of Christianity are born of individuals and their thoughts on what would be best for their followers. The LDS church is a prime example, as they have rules that are their own and even within the church are not decreed as commandments from the lord, but are upheld as strict expectations for its members because the prophets believe the rules encourage the best possible life for maintaining a connection with God, ending in eternal life spent in Heaven.

I understand what you mean, i wasn't try to score a goal. It just seems like there are a lot of parts that don't count and parts that people use in arguments to try and make law now. that's a bit of an extreme example. I know its different for everyone too but that book, especially the old testament, is overhyped.

I'm not sure which conversation you wanted as a result of this, but ya she's attractive. She was offline though so I have no idea if she's the prototype 'gurl gamer,' although the cosplay choices do lean me towards thinking that she is(stereotypes and whatnot).

So... has anyone watched Zankyou no terror? my friend told me to watch it and it seems interesting so far. but there are only 4 episodes??? i dunno what that means. it doesn't seem to come to a conclusion after 4. :/

End game raids so worth though!

At the end I might go play some FF14.
Not sure where this free trial is. I saw it on reddit but can't find the link anymore. Oh well. If there is actually one I'd give it a shot for sure.

By the way I absolutely hate Archeage. Clearly the game is not made well and it's really badly optimized. Grinding is a pain because everything is tab targetting so you just press a few buttons (as far as I can tell, there are combos, which basically means press a set of buttons in a certain order).
