it's not like the chat being hostile is necessarily a problem for viewers, usually the reverse

Wave your stream is 100% fine for me to watch. Obviously I can't speak for anyone else, but I have no issues with your stream. Requizen's stream also seems to work for me just fine, it's just for some reason Soniv's doesn't want to work for me.

As for the "hostility" I experienced on Soniv's stream I gotta be careful. I think hostile was too strong of a word. It was just more of a lot of people going "I don't like X for these reasons" or "Y is a big (insert insult here)". There's nothing wrong with that of course, but me myself I don't care much for talking about people in that regard. Sure it might be true, but I just feel like talking about people in that way puts you in a bad mindset. I understand for the chat that no one probably meant anything, but I'm just saying it's not my kind of conversation.

And clearly it's Soniv's stream and he can do what he wants with it, and he can support whatever kind of discussion he wants in there, but I was just giving the good man reasons why I don't watch his stream much. I don't expect Soniv to cater to everyone (nor should he) but I just wanted to give him feedback. Honestly I think it's for the better if the streamers here have a unique style, because that way there's something for everyone.
