I probably will get a refurbished unit. After shipping + tax it's 160 dollars, which I find acceptable.... I was actually looking at stuff like this then I stumbled into ownership of an 3dsxl. I'm not a very lucky person in fact I'd describe my fortunes as average at best but that kinda came up Parn and I was very happy after I got over the guilt. It seems like a decent enough bargain but doesn't amazon sell new xl's for like 170-180?

Quick look says 181 is the cheapest price for a new XL and I don't think you'll be able to get a 1 year warranty on the used ones like you can get from Nintendo.

Although, I've never played modern.

Modern has had a trend of making already expensive cards stupidly so. Questions to ask before my answer: 1) Is it part of a playset (4)? 2) Do you play Modern or Legacy? 3) Do you enjoy playing U based decks? 4) Are you scrapped for cash, or are you just trying to get value for it? As for why fetch lands are good, Consistency. That is the major goal when it comes to high level magic. Decks with lots of variance or very little Tutor or Fetch generally don't get played. That is why you see MANY cards that manipulate the cards either at the top of your library or what have you being very good.

Because of 2/3/4 I'd say get rid of them. Either in trades for stuff from M15, or for things in Theros that you want. Don't break up the playset though. Playsets will make them more valuable than trying to sell individually in terms of trading.
