Were it not for the surgery and whatnot, I`d essentially be done with lectures forever (aside from professional lectures/seminars and stuff). I'm already done with exams forever (aside from board certifications ).
Entering the 'real world' keeps getting pushed back little bits but it's coming. Although then again being married with a kid is pretty damn real---vastly different going to school and juggling that from being single and going to school.

@Alaric: Thanks for the reply! I'm thinking that I'm the same boat as you when I say that I prefer instrumentals over actual songs. Not to say that I don't like songs at all (for example, there are a couple from Modest Mouse that I really like), but overall I just prefer instrumentals, for likely the same reason that you do. They just make for better background noise.

Na, it's because I can't help but pay attention to the singing and especially the lyrics (unless I can't understand them) that I listen to so much instrumental: I'm at work, and I know I'll be much more distracted from doing actual stuff if I'm listening to The Clash or something (heck, even light-hearted stuff like Ashley's Song) than if I'm listening to instrumentals. It'll move/drive me anyway, but in a more visceral way, so it won't directly distract me from what I'm doing.
I could listen to Wildest Dreams from Iron Maiden all the same if I'm sleepy and need to put myself to work, but then I won't do as well because I'll be busy listening to the lyrics too.

That's funny, because usually my problem with lyrics in a song is that I too easily tune them out. Like there might be a song or something with very powerful lyrics but I won't pay attention to them as I'm not actually "listening" to the lyrics as it were. But if I am to focus on the lyrics on the song it takes an immense amount of concentration on my end so I know where you're coming from. My problem is that I'm too lazy to listen to lyrics most of the time haha.

maybe, I have no idea. We'll have to disassemble quite a lot of furniture, but again no idea how much time that's going to take.
I haven't been sick in over a year why do I have to get sick now though zzz
and the bathroom still isn't fixed I have no idea why, it was supposed to be fixed today

I guess it would be easier to estimate if I knew just what furniture we're moving but I haven't made the effort to ask my brother what furniture is missing where we're moving
we need to get rid of the furniture somehow anyway, we can't just keep it here.
