Okay this raises multiple points of interest: 1) If you never had the desire to duo with Requizen then playing with Requizen couldn't be classified as a selfish act. Indeed, you'd be playing with him to make him feel better. So in that scenario you'd be cancelling prior plans for a selfless act, which I would think society as a whole would approve of that decision. 2) Do you even need to be present at your draft? I get it's at your house, but for all I know you're just renting out your house to these people. Admittedly though, one would presume that you're hosting the draft since it is at your house. But from my (limited) understanding of MTG drafts I would think you'd be able to both host the draft at your house and play with Requizen. 3) If you did actually want to duo with Requizen one would think that you would have made more of an effort to coordinate with Requizen a time for which you two could duo with each other. As it stands, it sounds like you have made no such attempt to contact Requizen in order to set up a time so that you two may duo queue together. Granted, you could have sent him a pm that I don't know of, but I find that unlikely. Yo Frudges always has my back I'll have some Necrons for you soon, buddy. <3

But Wave can't do it 'cause he's the one who requested duos to begin with. Plus being mean on reaction isn't engraved in him, he's still got a way to go. Oh, yeah. People were salty before Dignitas started showcasing potential. Some Flowering Night for Frudgey (cool piece as far as "setting up an atmosphere" goes for the original, Sakuya's theme from PoFV, Sakuya cool too but patterns not as gorgeous because EoSD, big sprites and all that). WAVE, and in particular Morrigan always a good bet for orchestral (no, seriously, check out Midnight March, their rendition of Oni's Island/Onigashima in the Fairyland). Found that, not a fan, but you asked. SWR's version if you like violins and harpsichord (I do). It flows pretty well I'd say, always one "layer" in motion behind the main one. If it's piano, as usual, marasy and kkcwkoh got you covered. Themes associated with Sakuya in general lends themselves pretty well to orchestral (The Maid and the Pocket Watch of Blood, EoSD stage 5; Lunar Clock ~ Luna Dial arrange, Sakuya's theme from EoSD, that one's a bit meh in how it "masks" a bunch of notes though). There's a remix called "Night of Nights" too but I dislike it so I don't pay attention as to how people arrange it. Jazzy Alice for a change.

A few games before that I almost ratted out a game with a Grow build but my team tried to take a fight outside base while I was pushing instead of sticking to the plan(defend high ground, make them commit, wait for me to tp back, etc). Granted playing rat that way isn't quite the same as playing PL or Naga with radiance and keeping every wave shoved in at the same time, I don't feel as dirty.

Don't let me ask you for more music requests. The amount of effort you put into my requests is too much and you're starting to guilt trip me!

I originally had the post ready before Wave started talking about duos. I gotta have a look at "the argies", friday's maybe-date would have them perform at the bar. First thing I found was them arranging The Clash so it seems fine so far. Frolossus, I'm not sure Luna Dial and FLowering Night are easily comparable though, unlike, say, Alice's themes which all share some kind of eerie atmosphere. ![]()

Sadly for me noone I've met directly liked it so far. And people in general seem to hate sharing their tastes. You express interest in what they like and when they realise you don't know about it then they don't want to spend time showing it to you, already know and like what they know or bust. Frustrating. Like it's a crime to know a bit of everything by word of mouth and nothing really well. >>
