I saw the error of my ways and I take back my earlier statements. We cannot doubt the wisdom of Jack "Regularly watches most of the 5 major leagues" Ho.

it's not surprising that an article on lolesports might have a vested interest in pushing an image of parity between leagues, and even less surprising that the writers will steadfastly refuse to admit any bias. it may be disingenuous but i don't blame them for their position, since it's sort of their job to keep people interested in watching lcs

So in my Pokemon HG run I'm sitting at Ho-Oh but I just realized that I don't have any sort of status-inflicting moves except on a level 14 Ghastly. I got the bitch down to like 1% health and then it just destroyed 7 Ultraballs and 10 Greatballs. I really don't want to waste my Masterball on it though, so I reset (saved right before the encounter) and am considering my options.
I mean, I want to save my Masterball for one of the Legendary Beasts, but the only Pokemon I have that can take a hit from Ho-Oh are Feraligatr and Gyarados, and neither can learn a sleep/paralysis/etc type move.
Frustrating. I don't really want to sit around and grind up my Ghastly, so I might just chuck the Masterball and then build a capture 'mon for Suicuine and his bros later.
