If you know/like the Grilled/Reflections series you might know him, he's the one doing these. Thorin is an old 1.6 and Quake guy as far as I know, became a BW lover later on and now works primarily on League content, but also increasingly does content for CS:GO and has been doing SC2 content since it came out. As you can easily guess just by watching a minute of the video, he is a highly controversial personality. I think most people enjoy his work quite a lot, but his personality is obviously a whole other beast. Personally I enjoy people like Thorin or Richard Lewis, but it's easy for me to see why others might not.

I don't even like Travis. His interviews are 90% of the time carried by the interviewee instead of his questions.

But @ Teut, Thorin is the guy who did "Grilled" series and now some other interview thing, but it's a really long and actually very informative show despite Thorin himself being fairly annoying.

the last ~2m when he tries to force them to make a real opinionated statement about the XDG role swap and they all dodge is pretty good.

honestly who's league is pretty terrible and this video exposes it as the softball show it is. If you want to see Thoorin lose it and actually make a fool of himself your going to have to go to the CHanmanV he did with Destiny and the broken promises guy, in this video he's mostly right.

I don't recall specifics about the Unfiltered episode you mentioned, although I know I watched it. I felt the same as you about the Whose League video and I'm very interested to see what Thorin's own newly announced version of a LoL talkshow is going to be like.

Thorin is the guy that does grilled, he is also one of the only "esports journalists" that actually watchs games and keep up to date on various scenes. He is also brutally honest with what he thinks.
So then you put him with travis, and idk who those 2 others are, but guys that are mainly in the "people" aspect of esports, and their only knowledge about the game is what they heard around the pros or reddit, he's going to drop the bombs!

the chick is a pr person for dig, and the other guy is what a lot of people thought was NA's Kkoma but after switching teams from c9 to Coast it seems that his old team was just talented and his touted analitical skills didn't have a lot to do with it.

To be fair, Alex Penn is the former analyst of C9 and follows the Korean scene quite closely. For example, he was the one to "break" the news to the whole Western communities when Najin, Prime, MVP and IM joined KeSPA. At least he was the very first person to tweet about it and his tweet was taken as the source for all the threads that popped up that day on English speaking websites. Just saying that he isn't one of those clueless personality guys.

I'm just saying a lot of people thought that Alex Penn was the real deal, our first fully committed Korean level coach/analyst in the NA scene, he had c9 drafting on another level from the NA teams last split etc. but from (small sample size) the first couple weeks of the spring split it sure looks like Lemonnation was the mastermind, and Alex was riding in the sidecar because Coast has not only been drafting like poop, but going back to the same "cross your fingers and hope Zion gets big enough" strategy they've been using for 2 years.
