Generally I don’t actually like grand finals advantage in a properly stacked tournament all that much. I think the disadvantage of another tough series and a chance to get knocked out is sufficient.
If there’s a pretty clear gap between a couple of players and the rest, then I switch to being in favour of some kind of grand finals advantage for the upper bracket, as realistically Clem just got to have 2 shots at Reynor this one.

GG to these legit GAMERS. Zooming all over the globe cranking out solid matches.

The group of archeologists enters the sarcophagus chamber. Suddenly, the mummy raises its hand and gives them a sign to approach. One of the fellows overcomes fear and leans over the mummy. He hears it whispers: 'Does Zedd still cast tourneys?'

This tournament is just another reason why i completely hate double elimination and winner and loser brackets. It completely eliminates upset and surprise potential. You can come up with clever builds and play your heart out against a more favoured opponent and win only to lose the rematch because your opponent can watch the replay and think with cool head how to patch the holes after the defeat..
I hope we will use more single elimination brackets in the future, unless we want to see the very same 2-3 persons winning every remaining tournament (I don't). I'm really sad that RSL is also locked into this bullshit already. 2nd season, 2nd double elim format...

Double elim is a bad format because it favors mechanics over strategy too much, which LotV as a whole already does too much.
