Trap deserved this victory so much! It would also be great to see Stats win before the army calls him, he is on a kongish streak in the last two years(1-6). Welcome back, Super Protoss Tournament!

Even though he's older than soO.

I think it's a bit worse, 16 players in Code A + 8 seeded Code S players means we get 24 players instead of 28, I understand there's gonna be less players because of military service, but I would've liked a bigger Code A to act as like broadcasted qualifiers at least Code A is single elimination instead of group stages so luck of the draw can be a big factor, top 8 players in Code S can easily retain their seed which was a problem back in like 2011

The only top 8 players who didn't make ro16 next season were Dear (season 1->2) and sOs if you count ST1-> season 1. In 2011 you had a bunch of top tier players who were very similar in skill, that's just not the case today, at least not to the same extent. The field is much more stratified because there just aren't as many pros

Also the fact that everyone who doesn't get top 4 in the Super Tournaments has to re-earn their spot in Code S every season is neat imo.
