It's a bit of a shame. Was looking forward for Rogue stomping Reynor or Serral in the finals
I think Europeans have too much of an edge in cross server matches to be beaten even in ZvZ
What's the ping difference on central ? 20-30 while on West koreans have actually a slighty better pings according to... well every eu players. Happy on war3 managed to withstand 130-150 ping difference against the very best which just shows that skilled and used players can vastly limit the ping handicap.
The problem isn't just the ping but also that the servers are unstable and people get big spikes. Generally people in these events don't lose on their server and don't win on their opponent's unless they're really top tier.

I would say that different games have different ping requirements? I am not an expert on W3 but i woudl say is a bit more slow paced than sc2.
The game is slower indeed which makes micro a bit easier but it is so fundamental in the game... Moreover, they are a lot of interaction which needs to act very fast, poping an invul/scroll to cancel a storm bolt/death coil throws at you and theoretically, surrounds from the ennemy have to be very deadly. I think ping in both games brings the same handicap overall but your question is interesting, I'd ask Tod about it.

That was a fluke clearly. Inno is just really good in TvZ while Rogue struggles there, and especially against Inno who usually has his number (he's not bad at it just quite weaker than his other matchups) Didn't help that Rogue made so many mistakes today with his army movement and overall control and micro.

Considering that Rogue picked Inno in GSL I'm more inclined to think today was the fluke.
