It has a steady 55% winrate against Protoss at worst. Banelings and Queens have been nerfed into the ground. In the ground? Yeah that -1 AA range and the bit less dmg to light seems to be really hurting them..
Creep was nerf three times (spread slower, tumor can't be cancelled and + light tag), and transfusion was aslo nerfed.

I honestly don't see what the problem is with balance right now.
GSL race split seems fine to me. Sure banelings are useful in every matchup. So are other units.
We'll probably end up with 3 P/ 4 T/ 1 Z for a change. But we know Zerg is not weak since Serral and Reynor keep destroying

no, they are too weak after the nerf. Only Reynor and Serral can still do something with them.

Maru won 4 GSLs in a row at a time when Terran was generally struggling. Serral keeps winning both when Zerg was strong and now after nerfs. Both Serral and Maru are obviously great because they don’t need their race to be strong to stand out. Well, maybe not today’s Maru, but he’s always been weak to his teammates. Watching Maru vs Trap was like watching him vs sOs, Trap seemed to have his number.
I’m glad we didn’t get Serral vs Maru for DreamHack Summer Season Finals. It would’ve been so disappointing to see Serral 3-0 Maru after all the build up over 2 years.
