Team Liquid Map Contest #14 is underway and that means we have another awesome week of online StarCraft 2 content coming your way in the form of the $4,000 WardiTV Team Liquid Map Contest Tournament #6. We're so happy to be able to continue hosting this event on behalf of Blizzard and Team Liquid and we are going to put everything into this one to make it amazing.

We are currently waiting to hear back from Blizzard about our new format and whether it will be accepted. Our goal is to use less players over more games, which means that players will have more chances to play on the same maps and make it more worthwhile for them to learn the new maps. We will hopefully have full confirmation of the format soon.

We will be keeping EU and KR competitions separate apart from for the grand finals, due to the NA server being less reliable for cross server play lately.

Really curious how the new format is gonna look like.

Is every group gonna have their own 4 maps instead of all 16 to pick from so they can focus on just those maps during the group stage? That would be interesting to see if players pick maps they already know over maps from other groups in the matches after group stage.

We've had to move one of the playdays to the 14th for EU, so the 14th will be a bit of a mega stream. Here are our matchups, they will be played in this order but we will cast one match live and the other one paired will be cast from replay after the live games - it's not decided yet which ones will be cast live/replays.

So, that was a fast one. Harstem played maybe played that a little too greedy and didn't have enough stuff to fight Clem.
