He came back in late 2012 signing with an americain team named light and Moving to the us. The only Korean League he ever played was the first OSL where he lost in the qualifier against classic after beating jaedong. Stardust never trained or played SC2 in Korea as he moved to mYI and europe after light disband. So apart from the fact that he was Korean the description couldn't be further from the truth. He streamed as M18M very early on and was faaaar from being faceless as he pretty much single handly put mYI on the map. But yeah I guess if you don't read shit about the players they all are faceless Dunno I watch pretty much every competitive match Stardust ever played (on the account that I watched pretty much everything back then) and I would still say he was the phenomenon of "faceless" Korean going to Europe. Your right he didn't really play in Korea, so I guess there's that for him but he was still a B tier Korean, at no point was Stardust considered to be part of the top 5 or even top 10 in the world even after his WCS win, he was mostly meet win disinterests and balance whine. He was better than most Korean at PR and was a pretty happy guy, but he put MYI on the map cause he won some tournament not on the bases on his fan popularity (plus Penguin did a good job promoting the team house too) I mean personally I liked him on the basis that he seemed like an actual nice and kind guy (and the charity thing I was talking about) and I remember going back to what him play is BW games against (I think) Jaedong, but it was directly because of guys like him that Blizz made the region lock. Just cause hardcore SC2 fan knew who he was and his entire career dosen't make him less faceless for the general public, I also think Pigbaby WCS run is one of the greatest SC2 story, dosen't make him less faceless for most people. Edit: I guess that's a bit harsh, but still the point is I don't think it's crazy to say that that description fit Stardust carrer.

Mediocre is subjective. StarDust never escaped mediocrity in many people's eyes, maybe because his results were in the time when literally half the bracket of most tournaments would be Protoss players. StarDust won first of his titles by doing 2forge immortal allin every game and playing SjoW and the other playing PvP Most people forgot about his existence when 8gating every game stopped being a viable PvZ strategy Your tone was paternalistic and most likely intended to be, mine evidently was as well but that's not really what I had in mind when I wrote that. The key here was everyone referring and answering to different parts of the various posts. Duckdeok definitely had to run away from Korea to win and he still had mediocre results; I'd say he was pretty faceless too before crying, even if he inevitably showed personality after that. On the other hand, as Philozovic pointed out Stardust moved to EU not exactly after being hard rejected and, despite not being especially flashy in his plays, he found a decent amount of satisfactions here; I have to admit he definitely was a "faceless korean". Maybe Shuttle(weird, since he'd become such a true champ in BW) or Arthur are better suited to embody the faceless korean having mediocre results?

Also, how are people not voting for sOs, even if it's only a few?

Also, how are people not voting for sOs, even if it's only a few? ByuL is far ahead in achievements than those two but Huk and Scarlett are just much more popular so it's not really surprising. I hope popularity doesn't distort too many votes like this... (inb4 Xainon comes to argue how Scarlett's/Huk's achievements are more impressive than getting to the finals of 3 Starleagues + good PL record)

ByuL is really is getting hurt by the division of the vote, first you have everyone voting Huk and Scarlett (or Sen) and then the ByuL vote is almost splitt 50/50 between Huk and Scarlett, so they are both well in front of him. Still ByuL really is a bit of sad story of SC2, he failed at both winning final and becoming a known Kong.

Like is Neeb going against the second placer from group 30, or is Harstem going against the first placer in group 32? Thanks, just a suggestion though. Edit: Like the A2 versus B1 thing they do for the GSL bracket. Bracket are already done! User:Nakajin/Greatest of all time pool bracket stage 1st place finisher of the "high" group (group 1 to 16) face up against the second place finisher of a lower group (group 17 to 32) and vice and versa. Also there is seeding in the bracket depending on the group (no1 of the high group are in place 1 to 16, no1 of the low group 17 to 32, no2 of the high group 33 to 48...) so for example no first place finisher of the high group can meet each-other until the round of 16. And finally player in the same group are placed on opposite side of the bracket. For exemple Taeja (A1) face of against Nerchio (B25) while DRG (A17) face of against Boxer (B9). Hope that answer your question!

We only have 2 groups this time but we saved the best for last as the dejure GOAT and foreign GOAT in Mvp and Stephano joined the fray. The first one is joined by 2 protoss and an invisible man while the Frenchman is joined by Revival, Duckdeok and the last Chinese hope in iA. Theses groups are closed Group 16 Poll: Who are the greatest players? You must be logged in to vote in this poll. ☐ Mvp & NaNiwa Group 32 Poll: Who are the greatest players? You must be logged in to vote in this poll. ☐ Stephano & Revival Group are open until Wednesday April 17 around 20h00 EST. Theses groups are closed As we only have 2 polls this time here's another little contest if you like. Who's has the best and the worst SC2 nickname and why? I will go first. Best: ShoWTimE It's simple and catchy without being cheesy, it has some gravitas as well as pun potential without being too on the nose and it's easy to say in a cast without having to have a nickname of a fake nickname, only shadow on the picture the original capitalization (ShoWTimE) is terrible but he never write it that way so it's fine. Worst: jjakji Just looking at the name is a torture. First I don't know if there is an hellish language "jj" is a sound probably polish or some other moon talk, but most of us are left with the confusion of trying to stutter at the start of the name or ignore it completely, plus every single time I write it and put a "C" in front of the "K". And finally you have the fact that with 3 "j" and a "i" the name as way to many dots. Plus for some reason it has zero capital letters. And of course there is the obvious fact that a "jjakji" is nothing and mean nothing, I suppose it has something to do with his real name, but how "Jung Ji-hoon" got turn out into this random assortment of letter is beyond me.

It worked on so many levels. He was an apprentice of Slayers_Boxer, he actually praticed MMA before, and it just sounds badass. Worst: Dear If it was spelt “Deer” I think it would be a much better name. Could get a whole Baratheon thing going. “Dear” however hardly inspires fear or awe in others.
