Why support Amazon, who does not care at all about us, instead of a company that is doing everything we want it to, for the same reasons that we want them to do it? Especially people with featured streams, because I assume most fans don't rely on twitch notifications to see who is streaming - they just check TL. | ||

Afreeca is carrying Brood War and Sc2's korean scene and surely deserves all the possible support. I'm quite convinced non-korean Starcraft 2 could survive without Afreeca, even if the scene would be diminished. | ||

Hmmm, that's an interesting idea except it's not commercially viable for streamers in the West who depend on stream revenue. It might be a nice idea for the guys that just use for supplmentary revenue or for hobbyists though. | ||

They are global and that is why we can now see Afreeca streams on the side bar that aren't Korean. Afreeca has done a ton in the past year to improve their global performance. They almost need to re-reach out to the international scene. Regarding commercial viability, you can dual stream using iostream with very little performance hit. Therefore you stream on all platforms. So you dont have to turn off twitch to use Afreeca, there are free and very easy options for doing both. Finally, I have a long history with AfreecaTV and the most important thing to them is feedback. The reps always tell me if global viewers would send in feedback comments it would put pressure on the developers to improve global Afreeca. | ||
